jamestown cozy & cool Our historic campus is undergoing some 21st century enhancements— including new fitness, academic, and student center buildings. The campus features numerous buildings dating back nearly 100 years, and this ivy-covered state-ofthe-art setting becomes the tree-lined backdrop to your personal success story.

Lewis & Clark passed near Jamestown in 1803 on the first American journey into the Western frontier. The world’s largest buffalo statue is located in Jamestown, just outside the National Buffalo Museum.

Get involved With more than 40 clubs and organizations, there’s always something happening on campus. Here are just a few of the organizations you can join. • Alpha Mu Gamma (foreign language honor society) • Ambassadors • Art Club • Building 28 (Habitat for Humanity) • The Collegian (newspaper) • Communication Club and Lambda Pi Eta • ECOS (environmentally concerned organization of students) • Ignition • International Student Organization • Intramural Athletics

MAKE TIME for music Enjoy live music on campus at least one Thursday of every month with the Thursday Night Music Series.

LIVE WELL Residence halls are the heart of campus life, and your hall is where you’ll make friends for life. Some halls feature grand pianos in lounge areas, others are perfect for receptions. Choose from traditional halls and suite-style buildings with all the conveniences: computers, printers, 24-hour access to library and campus resources via high-speed Internet access, free parking, and more. Don’t overlook the homemade cookies and cakes next to all the healthy fare in the campus dining hall!

“Always something happening…” The Student Activity Office plans at least one campus event per week, but the fun doesn’t stop there... the campus is alive with games and activities in residence halls, school-wide dances, concerts, invited speakers, and more.

Learning the Business of Business The Community Alliance for Management Consulting program (CAMC) partners students with the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. Juniors and seniors work in supervised teams to provide consulting services in business planning, marketing research, advertising and promotions, information systems, accounting and finance, and human resources.

The Co-curricular Transcript When you graduate, your Jamestown transcript shows how you did in class, and it includes what you did outside of class. It’s evidence to potential employers and graduate school selection committees of who you are, not just what you studied. It helps you stand apart and above the competition.
