Access Wales Services • One free desk space for up to 12 months in a choice of 15 innovation centres across Wales.* Whether you’re looking to base yourself in a specialist innovation centre, or need easy access to a particular area of the UK, then there’s a range of options to suit. • Organising your visit including a tailor-made induction programme prepared in advance of your stay. We will work with you to develop an induction programme built around your specific needs so that upon arrival you can get straight down to business. We can also help you recruit locally should you decide not to relocate an existing member of staff. Our ‘Welcome to Wales’ team will be on hand to help you make arrangements for the personal side of your stay. • A free package of general business support through the Welsh Assembly Government. You will be introduced to a representative from Flexible Support for Business, the Welsh Assembly Government’s fully integrated business support service. This free service includes fast, straightforward access to information, advice and support covering access to grants and finance, property, innovation support, technology, marketing assistance, sourcing suppliers and skills development. • A free package of specialist business support through Access Wales’ professional consultancy partners. We can offer you a desk space in a choice of 15* innovation centres across Wales. All desk spaces come equipped with telephones and high speed internet connection and are typically located within an open-plan shared business unit.** Most of the innovation centres also offer use of their reception services, meeting rooms and conference facilities. Charges may apply. Selection Criteria To qualify for Access Wales, your business must currently be located outside of Wales i.e. elsewhere in the UK/Europe, Asia PaciďŹ c or North America. You must also be an innovative, high growth potential small and medium enterprise (SME) operating with a high-tech or knowledge based sector. Further information on the selection criteria and application process can be found on our web-site.
*Subject to availability. **Terms and conditions for occupying a desk space will vary depending on the chosen innovation centre. These will be detailed in a Licence Agreement which you will be expected to sign prior to taking up occupancy.
