With your help, we are making a difference… …to today’s students Through the generosity of our alumni, we awarded 10 Alumni Support Fund Scholarships to incoming students this year, enabling students who require extra financial support to achieve their best during their time at Anglia Ruskin and in their life ahead.

Making a difference… …to health and wellbeing We conduct medical research with the emphasis on common conditions that often affect people’s everyday lives. Your donation will fund research into burns injuries, glaucoma and children and adults who are benefiting from a wide range of therapies including music and drama therapy. Our research impacts on the health of people across the UK and the rest of the world.
Making a difference… …in your community “The skills I have been learning about on my Anglia Ruskin MA Music Therapy course, and whilst on training placements, are being used effectively in a very different cultural setting. This has reinforced my conviction as to the immense power of music therapy to change lives, as well as giving me all sorts of new ideas to use in my own clinical work” Caroline Swinburne, Music Therapy MA, after visiting the Music Therapy Community Clinic in Cape Town, South Africa.
We train those who support some of the most vulnerable in our society – teachers, nurses, midwives, social workers, forensic scientists. We train volunteers who assist with the protection of those at risk who are under child protection plans and others who participate in selected projects in both local and international communities.

…by supporting arts and culture Anglia Ruskin has more than 150 years history of promoting excellence in the arts. Our School of Art Degree Show and groundbreaking digital gallery showcase our art students, combining traditional methods with more modern interpretations. Whether you’re interested in drama, fashion, printing, textiles, photography, digital arts or music – Anglia Ruskin is making a difference to the arts.

Like you, we care about our environment and the world in which we live. Through our research we are working on the bigger picture of how to make our planet a more eco-friendly and sustainable place. Our influence is helping to shape government policy on climate change and protecting some of the world’s most endangered species and animal habitats.
