Dear Family and Friends One of my favourite children's books is called "Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible , No Good, Very Bad Day". It describes a little boy having a bad day ... and concludes with His mum saying "some days are like that". I can't help but wonder if "some days are like that" often, (but not always) because that's what we have anticipated? We think it... then set out not to disappoint ourselves. Often what we put into our minds determines what comes out in our words and actions. Paul, in Phillipians tells us to programme our minds with thoughts that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. I can't help but wonder if we took Paul's advice if we would have less ..."terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days”. Here's the challenge... Ask God to help you focus your mind on what is good and pure. It takes practise, but it can be done. Have a great week

Dear Sponsor, I have received the money you sent to me for my needs. This has helped me to pay my tuition fees, buy my textbooks, exercise books, school sandals, school uniform etc. My friends in the school and in the home where I stay join me to say thank you. I am now in Secondary School One. I am in my second term which started in January – April. I passed my first term tests. I hope to do better this term. Here is my newest photograph in my school uniform and school bag. (see photo on notice board/back wall) Thank you and God bless you and your family. Glory Glory is 11 years old, she has been under the Salvation Army’s care since she was little and lives in the SA children’s home.
