California surfer and lifeguard Dave Rochlen visits Hawaii
1964 Dave quits his day job and opens a surf shop called Surf Line Hawaii

Dave cut pajama pants off at the knee and had Keanuenue sew up the fly and hem the bottom Beaches everywhere would never be the same
