To: All Brethren in the Province of Durham (Lodge Secretaries please distribute to all members by email where possible) 26th March 2016 Dear Sir and Brother,

Annual General Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge Saturday 25th June 2016 – Brethren to be seated by 10.15 am I can inform you that the 2016 Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge will be held at the Lancastrian Suite, Federation Brewery, Dunston, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE11 9JR, with both the Meeting and Banquet in a single location. This is still the only venue we can find that we know will deliver the entire package to us at a cost acceptable to our members and guests. Again we may have to close off applications should the maximum capacity be reached but, in view of our previous experience and the fact that nobody who applied in the last three years was turned down, we are hopeful that we will again not be disappointing any of you who apply this year. You do not need to apply if you are attending the meeting only and do not wish to dine. Bookings for all will be taken from now using the form attached to this letter and which may also be downloaded from our Website. In order to again be fair to those receiving Honours this year, they will be guaranteed a place if they book by 23rd April 2016. Letters to those individuals will be posted in the hope that they arrive by 1st April 2016. The banquet will yet again remain at £25.00 per person and payment MUST be sent with order. Cheques are to be made payable to “Provincial Grand Lodge of Durham” and will only be cashed, once we have confirmed we can seat you for the meal. No tickets will be issued - in the unlikely event that you are not successful, you will be advised accordingly. ALL Grand Lodge Officers and current Acting Provincial Officers still have to apply for their own dining places (if they intend to dine). If you do not respond by 23rd April 2016 then you will not be guaranteed a place - if demand is high. Each Lodge MUST be represented at the meeting and Lodge Secretaries will be asked to confirm the name of that person in a separate communication. That representative must also apply and pay for a meal if they intend to dine. The Provincial Grand Master hopes that many of you will attend this Annual General Meeting and looks forward to welcoming you on the day. Yours sincerely and fraternally,

Thomas F Gittins, PPJGW Provincial Grand Secretary
