Over £2,000,000 raised for the A Message from the Festival Director February 2019 is the start of the 4th year of our Festival Campaign. It’s hard to believe its was 3 years ago when we launched our Festival at the Sage in Gateshead. The brethren of Durham have contributed over £10,000 per week since we began. Many of our lodges have hit various achievement levels with 41 hitting their target already, with other targets being achieved almost weekly now. I have a feeling the Executive Team are going to be busy in the run up to our Finale in 2021 presenting our Gold and Platinum awards. This edition of the newsletter has more detailed information of our 2019 fundraising events. We have tried to find events which will cater for all ages and difficulties. If you fancy taking part please get in touch with Paul Quinn to register your interest or book your places at paul.quinn@durham2021.org please note some events are filling up fast with some even full. If you wish to set up your own event please tell us all about it so we can help you with the planning etc. Remember the MCF is here to help. If you think they may be able to help you or someone you know please make the call or contact your Almoner or Benevolent Representative. This can be done very confidentially by contacting the MCF enquiry line: 0800 035 60 90.
