August saw the first anniversary for Janan, which was celebrated in style. The catwalk show was the main attraction, as well as performances from the talented duo of Bonafide and the host; comedian Nazam Hameed who kept the crowd entertained. This year, we will be celebrating two years of success on 24th August, so make sure to join us.

Janan endeavours to be a key player within the local community and gives a helping hand whenever possible. We are proud to support Bradford boxer, Tasif Khan within his boxing career and recently endorsed a boxing workout for him; the proceeds of which all went to charity. Janan has only been running for two years; however we’ve still had a fair share of celebrities gracing the shop. From designer Junaid Jamshed, to legendary comedian Umer Sharif, boxer Amir Khan, to iconic Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff; we have been lucky enough to bring some fantastic personalities to our boutique and wish to carry on doing so in the future.

After launching in 2007, Needlez has become a highly reputable name within the Pakistani fashion industry. Needlez offers a wide range of products to grace your personality as well as your wardrobe. Options for formal wear, semi-formal, casual wear and loose fabric are all included.
Junaid Jamshed established himself in 2002 and from then on his credibility as a designer has been noted, with a clear focus on promoting cultural styles with traditional values. Based in Karachi, J hopes to revive the use of traditional fabric and bring back to life techniques such as block printing and dyeing. By doing so, he aspires to present the Pakistani fashion industry in a new light; both locally and internationally. The Junaid Jamshed range is perfectly suited to hotter temperatures, with his lawn range proving to be a great success. The line caters for menswear, women’s wear and even kids - making fashion functional, affordable, and bang on trend.

Gul Ahmed, based in Karachi has become a household name within Pakistan and the subcontinent. The brand represents top quality alongside the latest styles in trend. Most notably known for their diverse looks in regards to lawn wear, the Gul Ahmed brand has built steadily and successfully each year.

Amir Khan’s Fairytale Wedding Tailored by Janan
T
he news of renowned British boxer Amir Khan tying the knot has been making the rounds and storming the world of entertainment headlines. Amir, 26, married long-term fiancé Faryal Makhdoom 21, in a lavish ceremony held in New York on Friday, May 31. This fairy tale wedding story links surprisingly closer to home than most would expect. Situated in Bradford on Shearbridge Road, Janan Luxury fashion played a pivotal role in making this dream come true. Janan is a boutique dedicated to delivering the finest garments and accessories, along with some of the most luxurious designs and trending names in the world of fashion. Amir’s visit to the store allowed him to try on a variety of sherwani’s, part of the process in designing the perfect outfit. This demonstrates the incredible dedication of Janan’s bespoke service team and proves that the store caters for fashionable men as well as catering to the female taste. Amir’s sherwani, as seen opposite, can be made to order by visiting their online store. Assisting the groom from the start, right until the final few days before he flew out to America for the big day, the team at Janan were always on board to help out. The couple then flew back to the UK, where preparations were underway for the grand wedding reception.
