THESIS SELECTED TO REPRESENT COLLEGE FOR COA-NIASA NATIONAL AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN ARCHITECTURAL THESIS 2016

Site Area - 4.8 acres Location - Meghalaya Why Meghalaya ? The Meghalaya subtropical forests ecoregion encompasses the state; its mountain forests are distinct from the lowland tropical forests to the north and south. The forests are notable for their biodiversity of mammals, birds, and plants. Meghalaya has predominantly an agrarian economy with a significant commercial forestry industry. The important crops are potatoes, rice, maize, pineapples, bananas, papayas, spices, etc. Medicinal plants are potential renewable natural resources. Therefore, the conservation and sustainable utilisation of medicinal plants must necessarily involve a long term, integrated, scientifically oriented action programme. This should involve the pertinent aspects of protection,preservavtion, maintenance, exploration, conservation and sustainable utilization.

Urban Design Semester VII Sringeri, Karnataka

Location - Sringeri, Karnataka Improving the town by developing the temple heritage. ANALYSIS Analysis of the town is carried out by studying architectural features of the town street wise. Town was studied and analysed according to the following : 1. Origin and Growth Pattern. 2. Semi-Pakka and Pakka. 3. Number of Floors. 4. Figure Ground Mapping. 5. Open ground, Parking, Vegetation, Fields. 6. Condition of the buildings which have been categorized in to GOOD, FAIR & BAD. 7.LAND-USE map.

Proposal was a Visitor’s centre for oncoming tourists.

Projects : Row Housing, Resort, Mall Locations : Bangalore, Raipur, Iran, respectively.

VILLA DESIGNS

Role : Row Housing : Have modeled number of elevation designs for row housing options and rendered them as well on close coordination with Manager. Resort : Helped in modelling the resort and making quick conceptual renders for client meetings on coordination with the landscape architect. Mall: Helped generate model options for interior mall views and renders on following close directions of the design team.
