When the
Darkroom was
brought into the light... In the yester years of not so long ago, photography was one of those hobbies that most people wouldn’t take notice to appreciate due to it’s technicality. The idea of using film and a darkroom to create a final product called a “photo” took more effort and patience than how we do photos today.
As the years passed by, technology has helped this hobby evovle into such practicality and ease thus creativity became limitless.

Introduction Introduction
Today, film cameras are now modified to fit this day and age. Digital cameras were introduced into the public eye, omitting the use of film and replaced with a memory card. Well, what happened to the Darkroom? It was brought into the light, into the digital age that is. The room became a box and in that box, contained raster programs concentrating on photo editing and photo manipulation.

These flaws are just too beautiful to hide.
Did you ever wonder how beautiful it is to see everything in such height, contrast and detail? Well, that is why the art of High Definition Resolution (HDR) was popularized. How to HDR? First of, select a photo with good quality (consider the lighting, composistion and details). Next, open it with Adobe Photoshop or any other image editting program (in this tutorial, it would be best to opt for Adobe Photoshop). Now, let’s start. First, select Image, hover over to Adjustments. Then you will see a selection of features to use to adjust your image according to your preference. In this case, we would want to make our photo in HDR. So, click Shadows and Highlights. Once there, you will see the basic box on adjusting the shadows and highlights in your photo but we’re not after that. Click on the checkbox below saying “Show more options”. Once there, play around with it as you will get to see the results once you’ve made a few changes. Remember, always set the contrast after you’ve played around with the shadows and highlights. It gives more totality to the picture. Once you are satisfied, pat yourself on the back because you just made a quality HDR photo!
