We’re a family run business, based in Olney, offering a highly personal approach to all our clients. Our aim is to help you focus on your financial future and give you clear options. We’re proud to be an award-winning team with a strong local presence. We have been providing financial advice since the practice was first established by Jane Smith in 1994. Nicola Watts, her daughter, joined the family business in 2000, and has been a director since 2006. When Jane retired, Nicola took on sole responsibility for the management of the firm, and the advice provided to clients. She is supported by a highly trained and well qualified team. Nicola has a range of qualifications in financial services, is a Chartered Financial Planner and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Licence – an internationally recognised benchmark for competence and a measure of the best financial planning results. The firm has also recently been awarded Chartered status, the industry’s gold standard, which is only ever given after rigorous testing. Our clients tell us they greatly value our dedicated service and proactive recommendations.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Right from the start, we take the time to get to know you. It’s important that we understand your lifestyle as well as your hopes, fears, concerns and aspirations for yourself and those closest to you before we give you any advice. That way we can ensure our recommendations will match your goals. Likewise, it’s equally important that you get to know us, so that you can be sure our approach is right for you. This is where we make it all happen and put our recommendations into practice. High quality financial planning advice is only the first part of your journey. If you choose our Product Implementation service, we can recommend and implement the most suitable products to meet your needs, identified through our advice process. We will work with your chosen support including accountants, stockbrokers and legal advisers to make sure implementation of your plan sits within a cohesive tax, legal and investment strategy. ADVICE AND PLANNING

Just like any journey, it always helps to know where you’re heading. That‘s why we provide clients with our Life Roadmap Service as part of our overall comprehensive financial planning package. The Life Roadmap Service includes a detailed evaluation of your current financial circumstances and looks at more than just the value of your investments and holdings. It also considers what really matters to you, and how you’d like your life to look five, ten and more years from now. This process also looks at ways to tackle any tricky financial issues you may have been wrestling with.

ON TRACK REVIEW

We see our role as pointing you in the right direction and leading the way. Once you’ve started implementing our recommendations, you’ll hopefully be able to start ticking a goal or two off your list. But it doesn’t end there. The key to successful financial planning and management is regular review; making sure your plan keeps up with changes in the financial and economic environment, as well as the changing needs of you and your family over time. And so we will continue to review your plan with you to help ensure it stays on track and relevant to your needs. While the end destination may be in sight, our involvement doesn’t end with just one piece of advice or
