Lounge
Bring a non-alcoholic bar into the design to create a festive vibe, reflecting the Grand Avenue culture, and encouraging people to have bold and audacious ideas.
A red, black and white color theme is implemented throughout the design to create an expressive and compelling look.
Commercial Visualization
Matsuri The project was to transform an Italian restaurant into a dynamic, loud, and busy Japanese gastropub with a festive and eclectic interior along with subtle allusions to Japanese culture.
The design concept is inspired by Japanese retro-style paintings of nature and animals such as Koi Fish, Crane, and Almond Blossom Rose. Each area will represent a season, shifting different energy throughout the restaurant.
Location: 699 Mill Ave., Tempe, AZ
JTown This project is to continue the previous concept to a new location but in different manners. The client wishes to blend the Japanese and American culture together to create a vintage and zestful upscale sushi bar restaurant without changing the existing interior structure and to highlight the view of Arizona sunset sky. Location: Phoenix, AZ
A BLUE SPRING RIDE
Every home has a story to tell, a song to sing, and a memory to never be forgotten.
The design seeks to create a classic Mid-century home for a family of four. It aims to bring in additional natural light and utilize a combination of vintage and contemporary furnishings and accessories to achieve a calm, soothing but cheerful environment. The goal is to restore hope and confidence along with a feeling of pure excitement and nostalgia. The design is also catered to a work-from-home lifestyle and helps daily life coexist comfortably with work.

The concept focuses on the beauty of tranquility and inner peace where people accept themselves as who they are. This concept is reflected through a abstraction of a bloom of jellyfish drifting through the currents, but the currents here are the sinuous steps of a terraced rice field. It depicts one's journey through life where they may encounter different waves of difficulty but choose to stay calm, embracing whatever comes their way.
