Ohio Means Internships and Co-ops (OMIC) Grant Program Collaboration among BGSU, Employers, and Students BGSU received funding from the State of Ohio to increase internships and co-ops with the goal of retaining more workers in Ohio. BENEFITS TO THE EMPLOYER BGSU will use its grant funding to subsidize employers up to 50% of wages and fringe benefits for each new intern/co-op hired, with the goal of helping employers reduce the cost in recruiting, training, and retaining talent.
