BOOMERANG FOLLY D ESIGN
P ROJECTs
The purpose of this project is to use an abstraction of the Boomerang chair, and turn it into a folly. This folly represent contrast: the hard wood material vs. the fabric like rooftop; the square oor vs. the rounded sides and decroations, as well as the cool and warm colour contrast.

NAIT DORMITORY D ESIGN
P ROJECTs
The three storey dormitory building is made of two, three, or four bedroom units on the second and third level, as well as a barrier-free room on each floor. Common area is placed in the center on each floor. The curtain wall creates openness and can bring natural light. The spaces can be used for study, social, and relaxation. The main floor is used as commercial area. It has a clothing store and a coffee shop. The residents of this building will have a separate entry from the commercial area. This building has features that promote a sustainable environment, such as solar panels on the roof, triple pane glazing, and low flush toilets.

HOUSE D ESIGN
P ROJECTs
This conceptual one bedroom house is designed for a “client” who was a randomly selected classmate. Through interviews, and series of conversations, I came up with keywords that describe the person. This house is intended to be custom made for the client. The location of the house was also randomly chosen. The inspiration of this house is a puzzle piece. The keywords I came up with was “mysteries”, “independent”, and “playful”. I made an abstraction of a puzzle piece, and the windows are inspired by leaves. The placement of the windows represent leaves falling.

NORTHBANK FANANCIAL GROUP
D ESIGN
P ROJECTs
The goal of this project is to design a new 2-storey bank branch for Northbank Financial Group, using research reguarding the City of Lethbridge. As a form of community outreach, NBANK would like designers to consider possible locations for public art when working on their design solutions. The other items designers should consider as they work on their designs are: Innovation/Concept, Function, Aesthetics, Sustainability, and Corporate Identity.
