As you read my blog, the answer probably is a “yes.” We are talking about a business that would allow you to make money working from home. But… you have no idea where to start. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! Believe it or not, there are just 3 simple steps you should take to ensure you’re building a profitable and predictable online business right from the start. Unfortunately, though, many new online business owners make their lives SO much harder than they have to. In various of my earlier articles, I describe different approaches to start with an online business. None of these articles are better than the others. They only cover different angles of the same topic. And that’s exactly why I decided to write this blog post, to get a quick and straightforward explanation on how to start with an online business. There are various types of online businesses. The way to build your business can have significant differences if you, for example, decide to do eCommerce vs. affiliate marketing.
Be Sure About Your Passion to Start with an Online Business Successfully

The first and foremost step out of the three to have in place, before even thinking about an online business, is to be clear on your interest and, in the end, your passion. Too many fail before even getting their business up and running because of “the money.” Think about a chef as an example. Can you imagine how the food would taste if money was the only driver for the effort to start a restaurant? A brilliant chef has a burning passion for everything that has to do with food and finally gets a good reputation. When transforming their passion for food into a good product, money will start to drop in automatically. “Do not chase the money, but money chase you” is a statement quoted everywhere. Nothing can be more accurate. Continues education and training The second step is to be prepared for continued education and training. You need to strive for excellence with whatever you’re doing. Salvador Dali said once: “Have no fear of perfection – you’ll never reach it.” This means that you must be prepared for continuous education. In the digital world, where everything is undergoing high-speed development, it means that you never can sit down and say that you know it all. It will never happen. Find your right partner The third and last step to success when you start with an online business is to partner with the right people and companies for your goal. In the online world, there are plenty of possible partners. If we erase all the false promises which you, unfortunately, will find, there will also be many good alternatives to choose among. What is working for somebody will not necessarily work well for you. It all depends on your interest and passion. When I was ready to start with an online business eight years ago, it took me some time to find the right system and platform. After writing down in detail my goals to be in accordance with my values, mission, and vision, I was lucky to come across a community sharing more or less the same. There was no pressure to start buying products and services, but I could do it all at my own pace. On the other side, whatever help, education, training, and coaching I needed, I found it there. It’s a complete concept where you can find everything you need for your business.
