L o c a t i o n V i l l a h e r m o s a Ta b a s c o Status Final Phase of Construction Design Arq Jorge Martinez Ejecutive Project-As Built Drawings-Renders-Graphic Material By Me The Valley Jaguar Project is located in southern Mexico, on Villahermosa, Tabasco. One of the complex part for Arq.Jorge Martinez designing this project is that Villahermosa has a very high level of humidity and hot weather, in addition to this, houses had to be separated one from another 1 meter so ventilation was taking a very important role on the design. In our favor we could include to the design two lagoons so he decided to place a deck and a club house so people can rest there and be part of the nature two. With the high amount of Industries arriving to Villahermosa, mid population class, the labor hand has grown a lot in this city. This project was targeted for mid-level class where budget on the first place, functionality and design had to take part of it.

Location Puebla Status On Construction Design Arq Jorge Martinez Ejecutive Project By Me The Departments Tower Project is located in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. The tower is design like a mirror where the living rooms take place on the center of the building in the principal front of the building, then the kitchen is located at the entry of the apt. in this way elevator, stairs and kitchen provide services located on the back part of the building, as well as the bathrooms and laundry service, so the rooms and living room can have the best view. With the top universities located at Puebla and many young people arriving to this city, the demand of apartments is growing. This project was targeted to students-and couples with no kids, where luxurious and a good taste for design and interiors take place.

Location Cuatitlan Izcalli Status Finish Collaborate with As Built Drawings/office/site I was hired in the final phase of the project for helping to draw the As-Built Drawings on Autocad, I had to go to the site and recollect the red lines and clarify that the changes on the red lines drawings were true so they gave me a golf car to go around the project checking every final detail that had change and it was not draw. As well as I had to go and talk to each one of the different superintendents in charge of the several engineering's of the project (Electrical-Plumbing-Landscaping-Structural), where I learned some of each one. This experience gave me knowledge of what is being at the site in the real situation where you can see all the design ideas transformed into reality.

Location Aguascalientes Status Finish Document Control My experience on working for 6 months as an intern at Yates Construction on the Megaproject Nissan II Aguascalientes was very heartwarming. Let me have my first experience as a worker, and challenge me everyday, even my chores weren’t that difficult. I develop my self in a multicultural work environment of an automobile plant. One of my activities was to translate the Security Manual English-Spanish, thanks to that I learn many construction English terms, and security construction rules that before I did not knew.

Location Monterrey University Project The community center project was developed in conjunction with two more facilities, a health center, residential buildings and a community center, which would be located at the end of the project that was planned by the Department of Urbanism of the City, in this way people could take the tour at the boats, and in the end have a place where to interact in a recreational way, as well as the other neighbors of the area, that do not have a green area where to interact. I explore many ways of how to locate each one of the facilities so they could work together in the best way possible and provide service and community to the users of the project. In the next diagrams made on a model you can see the many possible ways to accommodate the facilities. At the end of the study I decided the positions of the building that where making community. The definition of Community is A locality inhabited by a group of any size whose members use a common languaje, manners, law, culture and tradition.

Community Center

As the community center marks the start point of a future project, I incorporate a look out point, in this way you can watch a strip of trees that surround the river, in the image the green reflector Its what the users will be allow to see. The government it is planning to make a river walk with boats and a bike lane so people can enjoy of the nature, now the status of this river is very contaminated, but the plan is to be completely revitalized by 2017. In the next sheet you will se some officially published information of the project.

Location Puerto de Manzanillo University project The challenge of this project was to designed an unknown project on a one day workshop exam without using the computer. You could take books and printed information, however the result was perfect. My exam was to design a kinder garden located on the beach at Manzanillo so it had to have a lot of windows and open spaces because of the hot weather and the high humidity. So I created seven isolated volumes in each of the volumes they had two classrooms with capacity of 18 kids . Additional to this one library, one media salon, four storage rooms, one administrative area (two floor), two security cubes, one exterior theater, four garden roofs for the teachers, one sandbox and a semi Olympic pool. In the diagram you can see red areas that provide service to the kids, blue areas education and orange areas for recreational use, and everything is connected by a central path that provide unity to the isolated volumes.

Location Monterrey University Project The neighborhood Caracol is located on the heart of Monterrey near of one of the top university’s at Mexico, Technologic of Monterrey. Its high degree of marginalization has led this neighborhood to be one of the most dangerous settlements in the city of Monterrey. Additional to this, it has serious problems of participation, organization and communication between the neighbors, which has result in severe physical and social problems in the neighborhood. Because of this a proposal for revitalization of the neighborhood takes place, within the proposed changes in the master plan of the neighborhood is concluded to make a remodeling of the High School 13th of September.

1-Insecurity points In this diagram we can observe two educational environments, one positive and one negative. The first one located beside the two main avenues of Monterrey next to the river Santa Catarina, forming a kind of isolated area where insecurity and delinquency take place. In the second we see a positive educational environment due to the integration of schools with their environment through nearby parks.

43

2-Permeable Environments Now we can see that the negative environment has only exits and not permeable areas, unlike the positive environment that allows everyone pass through and operate as integrated whole.

3-Integrated whole For the remodeling of the High School 13th of September, I take the replica of what was happening in the positive environment of the neighborhood, creating permeable corridors that cross it vertically and horizontally, ending in the surrounded streets of the campus

4-Replication of positive environment I proposed an open public Campus where the neighbors can be part of the university Intervening in the spaces, participating and feeling identity with the neighborhood. To cause a positive attitude on them of integration. Additional to this I design bike lanes in order to promote the use of the bike.
