JARED PUTNAM graphic design Client: Just Fun and Games About: A small venue that offers everything from billiards and video games to dancing and pinball machines. Their primary focus are teenagers and families who live in the surrounding area. They hope to give teenagers a safe place to hang out and socialize. Just Fun and Games initially had multiple logos and marks they were using for their company. All of them were drastically different and none of their collateral or stationary were consistent with one another. The new logo that I created for them is also an iconic mark. The typeface was hand drawn and than vectored in illustrator. The logo represents the fun and exciting environment that Just Fun and Games has to offer.

Old Logo

About: Koi Pond Central is an online retail website that sells pond supplies and helps people design their backyard ponds. Along with individuals, the company also works with construction companies and landscape companies on a regular basis. Koi Pond Centralâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s logo was out of date and in need of a new fresh look. The new logo needed to appeal to not only new customers but also the current customers that shop at their website. Their old logo used the rippling effect of water so I made sure to keep this iconic portion of the logo. I also hand drew the fish than vectorized it in illustrator to add more dimension to the logo. The koi fish also gives the rippling water a stronger purpose for being in the logo. While there is a lot of usage of gradients in this logo it is still effective in black and white.

Old Logo

About: Jungle Materials is an online retailer for clothing. They represent a number of small botique shops who either don’t have a web presence or do not currently sell their clothes online. The name comes from the old nickname for cities “concrete jungle”. The idea being the materials one would need to try and survive in the “concrete jungle”. Those materials would be clothing and fashion. The logo represents the high-end boutique clothing that Jungle Materials sells by using a sleek and thin Sanserif typeface.
