urban detox
Academic Work Type: Individual Work Location: Guiyu Town, Chaoyang District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province, China Time: 08/2019 The project, named "urban detox" proposes a framework of sustainable and eco-friendly industry to address various ecological problems, such as an excess of heavy mental and waterlogging. This project seeks to make full use of vacant houses on the site and farmland along the Guiyu river in order to achieve stormwater management, river and soil pollution remediation and algae underwear industry development. It can also rebuild a new identity for Guiyu town with ecological sustainable development in the new era instead of the controversial "electronic graveyard of the world".

urban respite
Academic Work Type: Individual Work Location: Nossa Senhora de Fรกtima, Macau, China Time: 03/2019
Macau is characterized by continual invest, expansion, and development in tourism and gambling industry, but also by stagnation and neglect in providing public space for residents and fostering the local context. This conflict is emphasized at Gongbei Border Crossing, where visitors to Macau are promptly bussed to casino destinations, bypassing the local neighborhood and city life. This project addresses the shortage of housing and public space. The approach inverted the vertical and horizontal coordinates in the urban context. The typical relationship between street and block is reversed in response to the need for public spaces. Unlike the surrounding traditional skyscrapers, which are built vertically and upward based on the ground, part of the structure extends downward in order to change the skyline and the impression of the city. The structure is derived from the internal logic of the urban block. Enriching and reinvigorating the scarce moments of respite in the congestion and density of Macau, the organization of buildings and open spaces reestablish the city as a collective space of coexistence. With the urban fabric extends up to the border crossing, visitors arrive directly into the city, into Macau's vibrant life. 14

the reborn of university library
Academic Work Type: Individual Work Location: China Time: 03/2019
Due to the increase in the number of students taking the postgraduate entrance examination and civil servant entrance examination over the years, the space and atmosphere of the library of Chinese universities have changed, which has affected the mood of students studying in the library. In order to create a healthy learning environment for students, through the questionnaire survey analysis, the project proposes a three layer model of the space. The first layer is space for basic function to meet the demand of different students. The second layer is healing space to relieve students' pressure. The third layer is custom space to let the students to define the space. On the basis of the first layer, the second and third layers are interspersed to make students have different spatial experiences and create a relaxed and pleasant learning space and atmosphere for students.

cangjie memory
Academic Work Type: Individual Work Location: Xujia, Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China Time: 09/2018
Cangjie plays an important role in the creation of Chinese characters. However, due to the invasion of foreign culture and inadequate cultural protection measures, the original cangjie culture is lost. Through the combination of cultural activities and daily activities, the project revives the lost cangjie culture and improves the site landscape and road system. Cultural activities in different months give people different cultural experience, feel the different charm of cangjie culture and recall people lost cangjie memory.
