Fady Mina Geography and History Egypt is one of the most precious country found on earth with a geography that is rare to find in Africa and has the oldest history in the world. Most people around the world come to visit it for its beautiful sea known as the red sea and to visit the mystical history that hides behind the entrance of the pyramids. Egypt is considerate as an Arab country since the min language of it is arabic and few only speak french and english from the fact that it have been colonized by both country that practices those two extra language, such as the French and British. The Egyptian population is set at more than 90 million people living all around the land from desertic to watery land and with the currency money to be known as the Egyptian pound also called the guinay between locals. The main capital of Egypt is Cairo and many other big cities dispersed around the beautiful country without forgetting that it own the largest river worldwide, known as the Nile. And in the ancient time the nile was considered as the “black land because it was their that all there fertile and crop were made since it was rich in resource such as water. Also, the ancient thought of their vast desert land to be have a great value because they believe that it protects them from neighbouring country from invading their land and that it provide resources such metals and semi precious stones.1

The Egyptian history have been a really interesting topic for human to know about, since they are the first to build extraordinary monument without the help of any technology and still nowadays human have a hard time to rebuild it as exact as they were. Not only that but the war and conquest fought to own this beautiful land wa made by mostly every strong empire or colony. Civilization in Egypt was declared by 3000 B.C. where before that, hunter and fisherman were living the normal life around the nile for over 8000 years. A hundred years after the civilization, the north and south of Egypt was unified by a king pharaoh, which are the one to be behind the construction of the pyramids of nowadays. 2 But soon after Egypt became under attack from its neighbours, such as the Romans and Muslim warriors often know as the ottoman empire. After the invasion and colonial of the turks for many long century, came Napoleon from 17098 to 1801 where after the construction of the Suez canal, the British were interested in occupying that land because if they do they would own the canal, which would facilitate the transportation from Asia to Europe. After the occupation of the British for several decade, the Egyptian people decided that it was time to have independence, in which they become an independent country from 1952 until nowadays.3

Fady Mina Foreign Investors Toward Egypt
Egypt is known to be one of the best destination to visit during vacation time especially in summer, to enjoy the beach life and it’s mystery monument such as the pyramids. It’s is also considered as the second cheapest place in the world for tourists to spend their holidays without nagging about prices that are given to them. But as the uprising of the 2011 revolution came in Egypt, many people starts to be afraid to go and visit the country, in which even some European country have put a warning for it’s own people to not fly to it from fear of the violence that is happening out their. This have had a huge impact on the Egyptian tourism in an economical way because it has scared off tourists to come and spend their money in the country itself. Because of this situation Egypt have since been looking toward Arab and Gulf countries to invest and to come visit the country in order to boost back tourism. The revolution did not only affect tourism but the Egyptian economy as whole making it to fall pretty hard, such as rising unemployment, money devaluation, coast of oil and many essential thing that a normal Egyptian citizen would need to go through it’s dayly life.1
In order for Egypt to stand back on it’s feet, investment from rich foreign country is really needed, since the country have been corrupted for over thirty year making it’s money supply to mostly vanish. Of course it would not go around and ask it’s neighbour some help since one of them is a pure enemy to them ( Israel ) and the other African countries have merely to satisfy the needs of it’s people. Making most Gulf countries to

be their only key to invest enormous amount of money into the country to boost up the economy and tourism. Three of the major countries that Egypt is relying on to help it recover from the 2011 revolution are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Emirates, in which at least 12.5 billion US dollar are being invest inside the country in many way, such as renewable energy, infrastructure projects, health, education and job schemes.2 Each of this country are responsible in investing in specific thing throughout Egypt and also owning bing companies such as telecommunication and banks. Kuwait for instant is investing in four sectors and is ranked as the third largest investor in Egypt, such as industrial sector standing at 644 million usd, real estate sector accounting for 375 million usd, tourism sector with 330 million usd and bank sector with 247 million usd. On the other hand UAE is investing 4.7 billion of us dollar mainly in telecommunication and banks where they own 5 banks throughout Egypt. Finally come second Saudi Arabia by investing 4 billion usd in Egypt in many different sectors such as in kuwait did. There are many other GCC country that have invested in Egypt but in a little amount, which it account for a total of 13.2 billion usd for the past 10 years. 3 In order for Egypt to be able to attract many investor and to make them feel like they are at home, the president of Egypt, Abdel fattah El Sisi, announced new law and rules that are more friendly to country and individual that are thinking of investing in his country. This is put in place to improve the investment procedure and to facilitate them, so there is not any obstacle for investors. Those new regulations are believed to promote competition in business and to facilitated the entry of new investor and businesses into the Egyptian monopoly. Also, for 2

this to be a successful plan, public companies must accept the fact that they should cooperate with private companies. In the eye of the Egyptian president, those investment are the key to the success and the better life for the future children of Egypt. 4
Europe accounted for almost 73 percent of the 9.5 million tourists going to Egypt but since it have given warnings to its own citizen to not travel to Egypt from fear of harming them brought that number lower. Since then Egypt has been looking toward Arabian countries to invest and to come visit the country by trying to make everything easy for people to come with full desire. The first thing that it did was to facilitate its air connectivity with Arabic country and even cancelling the coast of visa for russian people since they are know to be the largest number of individuals to visit Egypt. What they did by to facilitate traveling to Egypt from some important arab country was to put in place direct flight from major cities to the red sea, since most of the tourism happen their. Major cities such as jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait city, will be rising the flight number from 12 to 18 per week that are only going to the red sea, such move will attract more customer for envy to travel to Egypt. 5
To conclude, Egypt have a long way before acquiring its desire and still need the help of rich foreign countries such as in the Gulf. The tourism in Egypt is still under process since it got hit badly from the uprising of the 2011 revolution. Not only tourism needs investors but Egypt as a whole, in order to bring back its population back on its feet from precedent damage. Those investment are not only seen as money profit but as a new way to improve the life of the current Egyptian civilization and the one of the future 4

At its peak the sector employed about 12% of Egypt's workforce as well as contributing more than 11% of GDP and 14.4% of foreign currency revenue.” As this quotation shows, tourism contributed in many different aspect of Egypt economy. Especially, it created many job opportunities in service sector. According to the graph “EGYPT: DIRECT CONTRIBUTION OF TRAVEL & TOURISM TO EMPLOYMENT”,
it shows since the year of 2004 to 2014, tourism provided 1,400,000 jobs on average. According to another graph,

“EGYPT: TOTAL CONTRIBUTION OF TRAVEL & TOURISM TO EMPLOYMENT”, on the average of the years from 2004 to 2014, tourism totally provides nearly to 3,000,000 jobs: around one thirds of jobs are indirectly created by tourism, almost half of the jobs are directly created by tourism. One sixths of job opportunities are induced. To conclude, tourism does not only create job opportunities in tourism industry, but it also indirectly create my job opportunities in other industries, such as catering industry and handicraft industry.
the first time had the democratic elections. Experts said that although Egypt was out of the dictatorship, but Egypt the domestic economy still subject to the internal security situation and political instability factors, and it was constantly going backwards.in fact, since long time ago, terrorism has been a serious problem that affect Egypt economy. The reason is because Egypt has the worst city "management system" in the world, we even can say that there is no management at all. Egypt government does not take care of anything, all controlled by the "market" itself as it is developing.
Obviously, the government just wants money, so there are full of corruption and bribery in every corner of Egypt. Therefore, citizens are not satisfied with regulation of government because the government is not doing anything that benefits them. There are always suicide attracts and protests; suicide attracts and In January 25, 2011, the revolution overthrew the dictatorship of Mubarak to the Egyptian government and people for

the Egyptian revolution in 2011, Mubarak regime was overthrew by people, the politics of Egypt became unstable. The tourism was greatly affected by it and almost destroyed. The percentages of tourism of total GDP has dramatically gone down by 1.5 percent. At the meantime, Egypt appointed a new president, Mohammed Mursi by democratic election. However, later on,
initiatives to promote tourism development. It includes: the signing of a contract of new route with the Turkish, opened in Istanbul and from the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada route between the two cities and so on. New government is not only confident for restoring the tourism industry, but they also hopes they will have a great leap in tourism industry.
he was recalled by the military power and the new government that was supported by military power started to kill Mursi’ supporters; they killed hundreds of them
According to the plan of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, tourists will grow to 30 million in 2020 in order to achieve $ 25 billion revenue, it will be as twice the level as the level before the political turmoil in 2010. To achieve this goal, they do not only have to positively develop the European, Russian and other traditional tourist market, they also have
and arrest thousands of them. Therefore, many countries alerted their people that Egypt was dangerous in order to secure the safety of their citizens. Therefore, the percentage of tourism kept going down by 1 percent until 2014. The revenue of tourism has gone down from 12.8 billion USD to 5.8billion USD from 2010 to 2014. Since new Egyptian government came into power three months ago, they had vigorously promoted their tourism resources and introduced a number of
to put more efforts to develop new tourist market, which is to attract more Asian tourists travel to Egypt. In conclusion, tourism is the main pillar of Egyptian economy, it creates many job opportunities and makes up of a big part of Egyptian GDP. On the other hand, it affected by Egyptian government and political environment. In order to change this situation, the new government needs to rectify corruption and introduce many new tough policies. As a person who loves to travel, even Egypt is a little bit dangerous

Valeriya Aydokova The Mystery of Egypt Feel the power of the ancient world by watching one of the most famous movies on the history of Egypt - The Mummy! According to IMDb Website, The Mummy is a rousing, suspenseful and horrifying epic about an expedition of treasure-seeking explorers in the Sahara Desert in 1925. Released in 1999, this movie, written and directed by Stephen Sommers, showed to the world the magic and mystery hidden in the heart of Saqqara Desert. This is a movie about group of expeditors who refuse to believe in old curses and are negligent to the traditions and myths of ancient Egyptians. They go on expedition in order to find the city of the death called Hamunaptra, where all pharaohs are buried with their gold. While searching for the treasures, they find a cursed mummy of Imhotep, a priest of Ancient Egypt who was mummified alive by pharaoh Amenhotep III as punishment for sleeping with princess Ankh-es-en-amon. Imhotep comes to live and unleashes the 10 proverbial plagues upon Egypt. Rick O’Connell risks his life multiple times to save Evie and banish the ancient priest. This is a great movie about true love, courage and bravery. Many special effects and fascinating costumes makes this movie very realistic. The acting is very good and some scenes are breathtaking. I loved this movie since it has a logical development and is easy to understand. Plus, this story invites viewers to consider ancient myths and pay attention to old curses.

Marketing Plan Creation for Hospitality Industry In order to create a distinct marketing plan, you have to understand the meaning of the wordmarketing. Some might say that it’s a promotion of a product, others will consider it to be a process of creating a business. In reality, marketing is everything! It covers all the aspects in business creation, organization and development. So, in order to start a business, the first and most important part is to create a detailed marketing plan. To do so, you need to implement a Marketing Management Cycle with Target Market Process.
.
To decide on the destination of the future business opening, it is important to know its strengths and weaknesses through SWOT Analysis.
22
Strengths: A warm and stable climate can be easily predicted and forecast for future months. It’s less likely to have a rainy and cold weather which can disturb plans for vacations. It can get very hot in summertime and all the tours will start at five or six o’clock in the morning and end before noon; nothing will be canceled. A rich history of ancient Egypt with unsolved riddles, many famous structures and monuments, brings tourists from all over the world all year long. It won’t be necessary to spend a lot of money to promote this destination; most of the capital can be dedicated for business development. New business operators can use a promotional pricing strategy in order to attract more guests during low season by making tours less expensive. Weaknesses: Economic instability directly affects hospitality and tourism industries. It’s necessary to have a Visa in order to be able to visit this mysterious country. A high number of thieves can cause additional expenses for hotel security Opportunities: Egypt has coastlines on the Mediterranean as well as on the Red Sea. This way a hotel operator can easily decide where it will be more appropriate and comfortable for him to build his establishment. Opening two hotels on different coastlines will give a rare possibility of choice
23
to each customer and help gain customer loyalty more easily. For new investors, it is recommended to start their business on the Red Sea coast, since it’s known for great diving, clean water and beautiful beaches. The longest river in the world divides Egypt in half and offers a great opportunity for opening a cruise company. Since most of the historic monuments are located in the Nile Valley, not far from the river, it makes cruises very popular for active tourism. By making good connections with tour operators in different cities along the river, your cruise company will have a chance to offer unique and specialised service to each guest. Threats: Political issues can cause many troubles for a hospitality establishment and will repulse tourists from visiting the country. A large variety of different types of products and services offered by other hospitality businesses can directly affect the occupancy rate of your hotel or cruise boat. So now, with the help of this SWOT analysis, you will be able to start the creation of the marketing plan and have a clear idea of what to expect while opening a business in Egypt.

Why You Should Visit Egypt?
What’s there to see?
What’s there to do?
In many stories, Egypt is mentioned to be one of the oldest and mysterious cities in the world, hidden in the depths of the African desert. Where ancient people were praying to different gods and their leader was god’s dissenter. For many centuries archeologists from all over the world work together in order to assemble peace by peace the history of ancient Egypt. This mysterious country hides many secrets and their magnificent monuments are breathtaking. Nobody knows how all this humongous structures were build and none of our most talented architects with use of latest technologies is able to reproduce it. This mysterious structures in the Nile Valley hides a lot of history and attracts many

tourists from all over the world. The most famous construction is one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Great Pyramid which is one of the three pyramids of the Giza Necropolis. Gaza Necropolis represents a complex of ancient monuments of three pyramids, known as the Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx sculpture, cemeteries, a small workers' village and an industrial complex. This complex is located in the dessert, only 25 kilometers away from Cairo. All visitors are welcome to enjoy amusing camel ride, discover secrets of Cleopatra in perfume factory, take funny pictures with the Great Sphinx of Giza and have a chance to climb on one of the Seven Wonders of the World. According to the history, the Great Sphinx, a statue of a lion with a human head, represents a power and loyalty of Pharaoh towards his people. Archeologists believe that a head of Sphinx represents the face of the Pharaoh Khafra. But there are no prove to it since no one can define when it was build and for which purpose. Not to miss the Abu Simbel temples on the south of Egypt, in Nubia village. This tow humongous rocks are twins and were originally carved out of the mountain during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC. They were entirely relocated in 1968, on an artificial hill, above the Aswan High Dam reservoir. Let’s not forget about the Karnak Temple Complex also known as Karnak and Valley of the Kings in Luxor. In Karnak Complex, visitors have a rare opportunity to see the transition from Heathenism to Christianity, where temples are mixed with chapels and pylons. Have a chance to visit last structures of Saqqara Complex. Pyramid of Djoser is the remaining part of the complex. It was built for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser by Imhotep, his vizier. It is the
26
main feature of a large cemetery complex, surrounded by ceremonial structures and decorations. It is also a must to see the ancient capital of Egypt – Memphis. Where the alabaster sphinx guards the Temple of Ptah which represents city's former power and prestige. Dive into the ocean of Egyptian history with over 54 museums located all over the country. Many most famous museums and tourist attractions are located around the capital of Egypt. The Egyptian National Military Museum, the 6th of October War Panorama museum, memorial to the 1973 October war, the Cairo Museum with a large collection of antiquities and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, the largest mosque in Cairo, cannot be left unseen. The Ancient Library of Alexandria, located in the city of Alexandria, represents one of the largest and most important libraries in the ancient world. This library was built by Alexander the Great and was used as a research facility by Greece, Italy and Egypt. Many unique but less famous cultural buildings are located in every city of this mysterious country. A part from historical monuments, Egypt is also famous for great beaches and scuba diving in the Red Sea. One of the most popular diving locations is a Blue Hole on the north of Dahab. To enjoy the sun on an African beach and professional service, great resorts and all inclusive hotels are mainly located on the coast of the Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. You can also enjoy a Nile River dinner cruise, one of the most elegant cruising restaurants, where you can see Cairo's illuminated skyline while you dine with belly-dancing and folklore show. Catamarans, Snorkeling
27
Tours, Swimming with Dolphins, Diving, Banana boat ride and many more water and land activities are offered to the guests. Multiple packages with camel ride and hookah experience are offered in each touristic city. For more adventurous travellers, a nice drive in the city of Cairo will be more than enough to understand Egyptian’s mentality. Cairo is one of the most populated capital cities in the world, its population is approximately 17 million. As strange as it might sound, in this humongous city, they have only two circulation lights. So it is a great opportunity to try driving in this chaos and learn to communicate with other drivers. It is also popular to visit small villages on the south of Aswan, where tourists can visit homes of villagers, learn about their traditions and have a chance to hold a baby crocodile. On the southern part of Egypt, villagers have a strange tradition of taking crocodile’s eggs and razing baby crocodiles in their hoses until they will grow up. This way they will protect themselves and their animals against sudden crocodile attack.
To fully enjoy a visit of “the Pearl of the Desert”, travellers should take notice of the weather in the country. Not to be disturbed by the dry heat, it is recommended to visit Egypt from October through April. Also, a travel during the fasting period is not recommended since almost all restaurants will be closed during the daytime, it will be impossible to get any alcohol, women will have to wear clothe that will cover shoulders and knees. Plus, people will be less polite and friendly towards tourists who will smoke during the day and drink water in front of them.

Jasmine M Side Effects of Tourism In Egypt, the tourism industry represent of 11,3
1%
the economy. From an economic
perspective tourism represents a growth increase of employment rates and investors in the country. On the other hand, there are a lot of negative impacts from tourisms affecting Egypt. Multiple consequences on the environment and on the culture from the tourism are evident.
The increase of tourism has an impact on the environment because of the emission of carbon from transportation by air, road and rail. This impact on the environment is measurable in the increase of soil erosion and waste discharge. Some consequences are more observable with the overuse of resources such as water, energy, food and landscape in order to please the wants and needs of tourists. Egypt’s water supply is from the Nile and it supplies most of the country. With the rise of tourism, this source of water is being both polluted and neglected by the country. The environment is also being destroyed by investors who destroy lands, change water sources, and endanger animal and plant species to build resorts. Those methods disturb the lifestyle of the people and animals in this environment . Besides the benefit raises do not help has relocated its community or offer a better environment for the animals We often assume that tourism comes automatically with profit, but it is not always the case. The tourism season is not year round, and workers are poorly paid. The money that a traveller pays benefits the owner of a company and chain market such as hotels and restaurants. Socially, receiving foreigners comes with various behaviours such as alcohol, drugs and sexual activity. These behaviours affect Egypt socially and economically, and there are underground drug and prostitution industries, which are illegal in Egypt. Nevertheless, an Egyptian can engage in sexual activity for only 100 EGP ($13 Us), and for a tourist the charge is anywhere from $450 per 1 http://www.sis.gov.eg/En/Templates/Articles/tmpArticles.aspx?CatID=416

hour to thousands of dollars for overnight visits .2
Culturally, the authenticity of a community is not really affected; but sometimes, in order to please travellers, restaurants change their menus to suit their wants. They want to make the travellers feel at home, but in a new environment; for instance, there is the existence of food chains such as Mc Donald's and Starbucks.
Finally, these are not the only side effects of tourism. There are also benefits such as the increase of awareness, which contributes to environmental protection and conservation of some areas. Protecting those places contributes to the authenticity of the places visited, which in turn attracts more tourism. Safety in Egypt Egypt is a safe country in which to travel; but like any other country, there are areas that travellers should avoid. The most current crime that affects travellers is pickpocketing and muggings, and robberies are really rare. In Egypt, the problem seems to be scams directed toward travellers buying in tourist areas when vendors increase the price of items in order to make a profit. Recently, with the Arab Spring, and the increase of threats by the Islamic States there is a higher security presence. Places where there is still tension are the ones tourists cannot visit. Due to the unpredictable political situation, civil unrest and threats from terrorism, you have to assess the purpose of your trip. In February 2015, two bombs were found outside Cairo airport demonstrating that these terrorist activities target authorities and public places. Furthermore, women are advised to be careful at demonstrations, just because they are female. Multiple reports of gender-based violence and sexual assaults against foreign and Egyptian women have been reported. In sum, travellers need to respect the religious and social traditions in Egypt. Modesty and discretion should be exercised in both dress code and behaviour. In public transportation, women should not sit in front seats because it could be misinterpreted by the driver. Also, tourists need to be careful with the pictures they take because they can be arrested for interferring with the message send by the government. Finally, to be a smart traveller before heading overseas, you should take about travel insurance and check the circumstances and activities that are not covered by your policy. Make sure to register your travel and contact details so you can be contacted in an emergency.

visiting a new country is probably one of the pleasant things in life. Tourism not only benefits the mind of the individual, it also helps in boosting the economy of the country you visit. It is a way for wealth to increase in a country. Tourism is one of the biggest industries when it comes to the economy; keeping in mind most countries rely on their touristic aspects for their economical boost. in Egypt with thousands of touristic/historic places to visit such as the Giza, which is one of the oldest places to visit and where the pyramids and pharaohs are located, Alexandria, one of the main summer places to visit, Sharm-elsheikh which is one of the most popular touristic destination in the middle east, its referred to as heaven on earth, and the list goes on‌ Tourism is one of the most important aspects in the economy of Egypt. According to Wikipedia, approximately 14 billion tourists visited Egypt in 2010 bring the revenues up to 14 billion.. Unfortunately for Egypt, those numbers have declined according to Daily Mail. Egypt was hit by a 95% decline in its touristic revenue after the revolution happened that took place in 2011, in just four years the revenue of Egypt dropped down from $250 million euro down to $10.5 million euro. In 2014 the tourism in Egypt dropped from a 14 billion tourists daily, to around 4 billion tourists putting the economy of Egypt.
35
There are no doubts that the 2011 Revolution has affected the tourism in Egypt, but that doesn’t stop there. Egypt is one of the most accessible historic places on earth, So there is no doubt that tourism will resume after this revolution is forgotten. Due to such tragic changes that Egypt had to undergo many of its citizens got effected by such change, the poor got poorer. With the lack of revenues, jobs are next to impossible to find now, forcing people to do illegal actives such as selling drugs, doing drugs or even stealing to buy food. With an exclusive interview with an Egyptian citizen pertaining finding jobs, his reply was ‘’ it is impossible to find jobs now a days, thus why we do drugs, heavily’’. According to al-Arabiya, Egypt hotels had to close down due to the severe loses in the touristic districts, making over 2m people lose their jobs. Moreover according to NBCNEWS, The violence in Egypt is only affecting the economy but it is also affecting the tourism industry in Egypt as a whole, the military was forced to close historic places such as the pyramids and also other famous ‘‘must see’’ museums. Tourists do not feel safe any more in Egypt, during an interview with an American tourist in regards to being safe in Egypt, his reply was ‘’ Is it going to be an issue where we are going to have to watch our backs the whole time?"
In conclusion, The Tourist industry is a very important industry in Egypt, with the fall of such industry, Egypt was effected as a whole, people are now unemployed, restaurants, resorts, hotels and famous historic enclosures are now closing.

Rich, poor and tourism
Traveling is one of the important aspects a human being can have, it gives an individual the opportunity to experience things differently, as well to cope with a completely different life style, and also the pleasure of being open minded to new things. The tourism industry is a very important element that any country could have. The tourism industry is a fast growing industry that generates a large sum of money, in 2014 the international tourism industry generated over 1.5 trillion dollars in profit, making it one of the biggest and fastest growing industries in the world. According to UNEP.ORG the tourism industry represents 5% of the whole global GDP, moreover the number of international arrivals grew from 25 million international arrivals in 1950 to over 800 million international arrivals in 2005, Making it grow at a rate of 6.5%. Although tourism seems to be an advantageous industry solitary, deep down, there is some disadvantageous to it that affects the country, precisely the environment. Since tourism plays an important role in benefiting a country, extra efforts are put into use by the government to give better hospitality to tourists flying in from different countries. Hospitality is the ability to ensure geneouristy and entertainment to strangers or tourists in this case. Creating the hospitality needed for tourists to visit has many disadvantageous that effect the environment and the poorer citizens in general. In this article a few advantages and disadvantages in relation to tourism will be specified. Advantages of tourism are many, tourism brings in money, it plays a big role in increasing the countries economy, tourism is a very important industry in Egypt, it plays a huge role in boosting the economy, for example, in 2010 nearly 14.7 million tourists visited Egypt, giving the Egyptian economy a boost of about 12.5$ billion dollars which is nearly 11% of the Egypt’s GDP. Another advantage of tourism is providing jobs for local citizens, bars, clubs, hotels, resorts are fundamental aspects for tourists, in return it opens more job opportunities for local citizens. Attraction is yet another advantage of tourism, it attracts more people to visit which in return gives the economy a great boost. Although tourism has many advantages, it also has a few disadvantages to it.
37
One of the many disadvantages of tourism would be, environment destruction, for amenities to be open such as good hotels, resorts, bars, clubs, etc. environment has to be destroyed to make space for those amenities, which in return destroys the houses of many animals. Another disadvantage would be kicking out the poor from their places; the government tends to destroy the houses of the poor in order to make space for touristic places. Moreover another disadvantage would be pollution; many tourists would come and throw their wastes on the ground, creating a polluted environment that would have many negative effects on the country. Lastly we have expansion of illegal activities such as drugs, prostitution, endangered species, etc. All that would give a country a very bad reputation.
This takes us to our second point, comparing the tourism industry between the rich countries and the poor countries. Poorer countries have a lot more disavtangeous than richer countries when it comes to the tourism industry, for so many obvious reasons. First of all, Lack of skills or education, for instance in Africa, many African people do not know the importance of the wild life, and the monetary benefits it could bring to their country. Another yet obvious reason would be the lack of technology; countries such as Tanzania, which lack technology, are most likely to lack development, which is a turn off for tourists because it lacks satellites, Internet, mobile phones and many important aspects that tourists need. Another important aspect is the lack of good foundations, such as roads, bridges, highways, pedestrian walks, and many more aspects that makes traveling easier and sufficient. Moreover we have the lack of touristic amenities, such as good rated hotels, clubs, bars, and good resorts. Diseases is yet another issue that a poor country could face, many tourists are afraid to visit developing countries because there is a lack of hospitals or hygiene, which makes a country more vulnerable to diseases such as Malaria. Next in line, we have the lack of governmental support, the government plays a big role in creating and shaping the touristic industry in a country, by spending
38
money to create amenities such as clubs, cinemas, bars, roads for better transportation, social services such as hospitals, and lastly marketing the country to attract tourists, unfortunately countries such Africa, the government does not monetarily support the country, thus making tourism not so popular in that region. Meanwhile in rich countries, apart from pollution and destroying the environment to make spaces for touristic amenities, Rich countries are not so effected by the issues provided previously. Rich countries are most likely to be fully supported by the government which pays for all the amenities and tourist attractions, rich countries are most likely to have technology which enables tourists to use their cellphones, internet, watch television, and of course rich countries have public social services such as hospitals so the vulnerability of diseases are much less than the poorer countries. In conclusion, it is quiet obvious that the tourism industry is one the fastest growing industries in the world, generating unreasonable amount of money that is very beneficial to a country. Tourism plays a huge role in shaping the countries economy. Although tourism has so many advantages, it also had a little bit of disadvantages to it that could be avoided in the future. Poorer countries are facing harder time attracting tourists because of the Lack of skills, knowledge, and governmental support. These aspects play a huge role in attracting tourists and making the tourist industry available. Moreover it is very important to have the right marketing technics and technology in-order to reach out to foreign countries and persuade them for a visit. After all tourism is a very important element that every country should have!

It is becoming a sort of physical activity where most travellers walk to better enjoy their trip. Studies have demonstrated that travelling lowers blood pressure, decreases stress and is generally a healthy activity, for most people. We have become so stressed out we are as a culture, that we can’t relax unless we literally rip ourselves away from our home environments1. However, travelling can be considered as in investment to help increase bonds between relatives and friends. It makes children openminded, and it strengthens couples and family together. To sum up, it gives new perspectives in relationship and helps to connect with your family of partner in a different setting were they are facing new challenges. Depending on the country visited, it can make you realize the differences in various life situations. Going to a country where your basic needs are not always met is an eye-opener to learning how to appreciate what you have and being grateful for it. Also, it makes us less materialistic by leaving with things that we do not necessarily needed focus on things that you need the most. Furthermore, being on a trip helps you learn how to manage money and create a budget because can only count on you to survive. Travelling helps us to construct our identity by improving our skills and understanding when we are in real need. When people ask you where you from, it helps you to demystify what makes you different from a community or what makes you similar.

The big disadvantages that are mostly pointed out are exposure to danger, disease or even death outside of our home country.
