• At least one WC pan on the entry level, or a level serviced by a lift, shall provide for a minimum clear space of 900mm (width) x1200mm (length immediately forward of the toilet pan) clear of the swing of the door and any other fixtures such as the shower screens or shower screen fixtures or hand wash basin. • 460mm to side wall, - 800+/-10mm front edge of WC pan from back wall, - Minimum 600mm clear of cistern from front edge of WC pan • At least one shower on the entry level, or a level serviced by a lift, shall be provided in a corner of the room with the following provisions: • The shower size shall be a minimum of 1160mm x 1100mm and provided with one of the two circulation spaces for shower as required by AS1428.1. Refer to Figures 8(c) and 8(d). • Shower curtain rail shall be provided around the 1160x1100mm shower space. • Only vertical support grabrail shall be provided to the shower, with provision of height adjustable shower head and hose as per AS1428.1 • Lever style shower tap shall be provided and located in a zone between 900mm to 1100mm above FFL and between 300mm and 800mm from the internal corner. • Shower floor gradient shall be as required by AS1428.1.

2.1- HOUSE ADDITION & ALTERATION PROEJCT TIME: SEP 2020 - FEB 2021 PROJECT LOCATION: 41 - 43 WARATAH ST HABERFIELD PROJECT BRIEF: The owner wanted a big habitable building extension to his California-bunglow styled duplex. First, I got the building archive dated back to 1983 from Ashfield City Council, which proved that the property at the corner lot was a twin of shop-top houses by 17 May 1983. Based on this fact, I converted the primary houses back to shop-top houses, so as to get rid of the requirement about backyard gardens. Second, I convinced the owner to remove the low-efficient lightweight structure in his backyard, such that we got enough space to function as private open space. Third, based on my understanding about the owner and his family, I picked up ‘pavillion-concept’ extension from Chapter E2 Haberfield Heritage Conservation Area. The extension is a twin house as well. It woud be easier for him to share his property with his elder daughter’s family.

2.4 APARTMENT BUILDING OCT 2019 5 MONA ST ALLAWAH

The project was designed by the registered architect Tony Leung. As an intern architect with a+ Design Group, I observed all the stages of the project and contributed to the whole DA documentary stage. In this portfolio, I kept Tony’s initial scheme, but did new site analysis, floor layouts, elevations, renderings and tectonic study.
