Realisation
This unit explored the process in order to create a 6 piece capsule collection. Experimenting with drape allowed me to create interesting silhouettes and sampling sections of garments allowed me to gain understanding about construction. Print was my main focus of the unit, which I explored interestingly as well as using free embroidery.

Digital Print and Lectra System
This unit involved creating digital prints using Photoshop based around a theme of our choice. I selected the Animated Film Company ‘DreamWorks’; my swatches therefore consisted of imagery such as dream catchers, clouds and balloons. I was also introduced to the Lectra system where I digitally created a T-shirt pattern and constructed it.
Final Swatches and T-shirt designs
A Timeless white shirt.
This unit taught me the necessary skills of pattern cutting and construction from which I can now build on. I had to construct a white shirt with the adaption of the collar and cuffs, which I was allowed to design myself. My theme was based upon the fairground with my final design mainly focusing on carousel horses.

Tropical Childrenswear
This unit was about specialisms and exploring design identity. I chose to make a childrenswear item with the theme tropical, looking at birds, fish, flowers and fruit. My process was very focused towards print design by getting children to draw illustrations that I then edited on Photoshop for my print. My final product was a printed girls dress.
