EXHIBITION & OFFICE

The concept of this competition is to create a seamless meeting room and exhibition place in an aparment setting for a ceramic company. The combination of meeting & Exhibition place hopes to meet the expectation of a potential tender to feel and see the ceramics directly on the exhibition space while the meetings is happening Therefore, a waiting room would also be available for customers & employees while waiting The exhibition space would allow the company to display their products as well as their story or concept in full reailty.

A room that has a large enough area with the existing space requirements is arranged into 3 parts, providing a "feel" or feeling of more optimal use without experiencing a space that is too large or too small

The concept used is the "industrial" concept with the use of wood and concrete-based materials. using PLATINUM ceramic covering material. With wood motifs and concrete and granite motifs. With a color concept using brown, black and gray. The selection of wood and concrete motifs is to give a “HOMY” impression from the wood motif combined with concrete material so that it will give a homey impression that is not too excessive from the wood motif. By giving a touch of the icon of the “Platinum” logo by giving curved corners that give the shape of the logo.

TERRACOTA

ACTION FIGURE

COLLECTOR’S INTERIOR

Competition - Group of 3 (as Concept Design & 3D viz) | August 2024 - September 2024

A PERSONAL DEN

In every anime or character animation, there is always a main character in the story Building on that idea, a character was developed as the main theme for the interior design of the action figure collection. In this design, a cat or 'neko' was chosen as the main character for this collector's home.

In Japan, cats are highly valued pets and considered rare treasures, often exchanged among the upper class as luxury items, similar to precious gems In modern times, the cat population in Japan has significantly increased due to the ease of keeping them as pets On some islands in Japan, cats dominate, with the ratio of humans to cats reaching 1:6, as seen on Oishima Island, Japan. Cats have a very calm, independent, and adaptable lifestyle. This trait is being applied to the interior design of the collector's home to align with the collector's personality and the addition of their collection, resulting in a design that is beautiful, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

Creating an area that serves as the first look of the interior of the 'Neko House,' it offers a clean, simple design that highlights the collector's collections Cabinet 1 features an open design with a sliding glass door system, providing ventilation to the room that directly connects to the garden at the back of the house The cabinet, combined with the sliding glass, also allows natural light into the family room, creating a cozy, homey atmosphere and bringing joy by showcasing the action

JAPANESE STYLE CREDENZA
PREPARATON CHAIR
COLLECTOR CABINET
BACKDROP TV

The Japandi concept is used in the bedroom to provide a sense of maximum comfort and calming simplicity. To enhance comfort, the number of action figures in the room will be reduced, but space will still be allocated for a few 'prized possessions' or figures that are most meaningful to the owner The room functions as a restful sleeping area for the collector.

As the main room in the collector's house, the idea is to create a diorama featuring the action figures as the focal point of the space, placed at the center of the collector's area This room also serves as a place to unwind, where the collector can play games and enjoy their favorite action figure dioramas It becomes a retreat from daily life
