Last Minute Christmas Wishes I am sure the last minute Christmas wishes are coming in fast and furious now. As the special day approaches ever so slowly for the children, they will be surely making any possible changes to their “wish list”. Hoping for the latest and greatest toy or game, crammed into Santa’s big red toy bag. To all the parents reading this, please ensure everything is safely done to allow this to happen. Nothing more exhilarating than having the family waken early, to rush down and marvel at the presents under the tree. Let’s work together to experience this moment. We can do this: 1. Make sure the home is equipped with the required number of working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. 2. Make sure the alarms work. Dust, vacuum and test once a month. 3. Change your clocks – Change your batteries. 4. Have a Home Escape Plan. Practice your Home Escape Plan. Know the Drill. 5. Ensure this is a family activity. Make sure everybody understands the meaning behind it and participates. This is a time of year to look at the smiles on the children’s’ faces, enjoy family gatherings and visits with long time friends. Let’s live to do this again. Town of Gravenhurst North Morrison Lake Parking Lot Expansion Schedule B, CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT STUDY NOTICE OF Public Information Centre The Town of Gravenhurst is proposing to improve the existing North Morrison Lake Road Parking Lot. The proposed works include expanding public parking, better define deeded island parking spaces, improve traffic movements through the parking lot, improve signage, improve lighting and improve stormwater drainage. The study will consider environmental impacts and propose appropriate mitigation measures. In accordance with the requirements for Schedule B projects of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process, the Town will present study material for public review commencing the week of November 29th, 2021, which includes the recommended solution.
