We know it’s only fall but our Community Recreation Coordinator is already planning for Spring & Summer 2020 to make it the best yet! Do you have program or workshop ideas/suggestions?

Winter Carnival is seeking your help!

Join us for an open discussion about what is involved with the Winter Carnival and how people can get involved. Anyone is welcome to attend. The Open house will take place in the Council Chambers from 6-8pm on Wednesday November 13 . Drop in anytime to learn about the Carnival and how to get involved!

The Community Spirit Awards are back! Come out and support this year’s recipients - Thursday November 7th at 7 pm at the Gravenhurst Opera House. Everyone is welcome to attend the ceremony and support our outstanding community volunteers. Ceremony starts at 7 pm, musical interlude provided by Abby Liang, social with light snacks to follow. www.gravenhurst.ca/spiritawards

At The Gravenhurst Library Preschool Story Time Tuesdays at 10:15 am – Drop-in Device Training – Tuesdays 2 to 4 pm, and Wednesday’s 10 am to 12 pm and 2 to 4 pm – ½ hour appointments available. Please call the library to book your time slot. Library Closed for Staff Professional Development Day– Friday November 1. All Online resources will be available. The Library will re-open on November 2. Local History Talk - Gravenhurst goes to the Great War: The Impact of War on Our Town and Our People with Archivist, Judy Humphries, Wed. Nov. 6 at 7 pm.

Your local firefighters will be leading off the Gravenhurst Santa Claus parade once again on Saturday November 23rd with their 4th Annual Toy Drive in support of Santa and the Salvation Army. Your support is appreciated by all!
