Employment opportunity with the Town of Gravenhurst

Here are your next few safety tips to consider. Rural residents and farms must understand the importance of prompt action in the event of a fire. When fire is discovered, call the Fire Department immediately, before making any attempt to fight the fire. A delay in calling the fire department will give the firefighters little chance of saving what may be your home or farm. 1. Be specific with your address, including north, south ease or west directions if they apply. 2. Know your address and be sure to inform other that may frequent your farm from time to time such as babysitters, visitors and employees. 3. Be sure your address is posted, unobstructed and visible at all times. 4. Keep tree lines lane ways clear of overhead obstructions such as low-hanging limbs and branches. 5. Keep lane ways clear of snow/ice during the winter months.

Manager of By-law Services

(Full time, management/non-union position, 35hrs/wk) The deadline to apply is Friday September 16th, at 4:00pm. Please visit our Employment Opportunities page to view the posting and job description at www.gravenhurst.ca/jobs

6. Chances are neighbours will arrive to help, do not allow them to obstruct driveways or access to the burning building by arriving fire department equipment.
