Winter 2015 THIS BUCK SHOPS HERE As part of our project plan, the Downtown Revitalization Committee has designed a media awareness campaign about the benefits of shopping downtown, and a downtown gift-certificate incentive program that will be rolling out before the summer: Gravenhurst Downtown Dollars.
Basically, a Downtown Dollar is a gift certificate that can be used at any participating downtown business that agrees to accept them. Going on sale to the public in the spring of 2015, Gravenhurst Downtown Dollars are a simple gift certificate program that has all the same benefits as any gift certificate people might purchase from a national retail chain, or online, but using them will directly support YOU, the downtown businesses that are so important for the revitalization of our community.
Be sure to get your business in on the Gravenhurst Downtown Dollars program.
It’s FREE, and you will benefit by being part of the marketing and promotion campaign that’s already in place. The Downtown Dollar program is fully funded by the Downtown Revitalization Committee, businesses like yours do not pay anything to participate. Members of the Downtown Revitalization Committee will be visiting every downtown business during the month of March to introduce the Gravenhurst Downtown Dollars program and help you register as a participating business.
