Prayers for Others and the Lord's Prayer
Prayer of Thanksgiving Accept, O Lord, our thanks and praise for all that you’ve done for us. We thank you for the splendor of the whole creation, for the wonder of life, and for the mystery of love. We thank you for the blessing of family and friends, and for the loving care which surrounds us on every side. We thank you for our successes, which satisfy and delight us — but also for the disappointments and failures that lead us to acknowledge our dependence on you alone. Above all, we thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ — for the truth of his Word and the example of his life. We thank you for his dying, through which he overcame death — and for his rising to life again, in which we are raised to the life of your Kingdom. Loving God, may we — at all times and in all places — give thanks to you in all things. Amen.
Prayers of the People After each prayer, the Leader will conclude: Lord, in your mercy, and all may respond, Hear our prayer.
Tithe and Offering One of the highest privileges we have as Christians is to respond to God’s grace by financially supporting the mission and ministry of Christ’s church. Through your gifts, lives are touched.

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
GROWTH
Annual Estimate of Giving Needed Your annual giving supports DUMC’s ongoing ministries, missions and operating budget. When each member or household provides an estimate of giving for the year, the church can more accurately predict how much money will be available to support our operating budget. Every size gift is important and helps us impact even more lives. If you’ve returned your card, thank you for your commitment. If you haven’t returned your card, please prayerfully consider what your 2018 estimate of giving will be. You can return your estimate of giving card to the church office, place it in the offering plate or complete it online at dunwoody.umc.org/ estimate2018 by February 25.
