Prayers for Others and the Lord's Prayer
We thank you, God, for raising Jesus Christ to live among us forever. We thank you for the new life you offer us, that hope, not fear, and love, not coldness, may rule our lives. May we know the risen Christ among us today, through the power of your Spirit. Amen.

The Prayer Ministry exists to help support you in times of need. Our Prayer Intercessors lift prayer needs and requests to God on behalf of others and maintain strict confidentiality of those requests. For those within our congregation who are experiencing illness or other special situations, we offer prayer blankets that have been prayed over by the Prayer Ministry as well as clergy members. The Prayer Room at DUMC is set aside for those who would like to pray and it’s open for prayer any time the church is open. On May 3 we will observe a Day of Prayer. Please save the date to join us for a prayer service on Wednesday night, May 2 at 6:30 in the Chapel and throughout the day on Thursday for prayer in the Chapel. If you have a prayer request or would like to volunteer with the Prayer Ministry, we can be reached by email prayer@dunwoodyumc.org or call 770-671-8239 to leave a confidential message.
