The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the Glory body, and the life everlasting. Amen.Be to the Father Hymn 71

Offertory

He Never Failed Me Yet Ray Chancel Choir I will sing of God’s mercy, everyday, every hour. He gives me power. I will sing and give thanks to Thee for all the dangers, toils, and snares that He has brought me out. He is my God and I’ll serve Him, no matter what the test. [Refrain: Trust and never doubt, Jesus will surely bring you out. He never failed me yet.] I know God is able to deliver in time of storm. I know that he’ll keep you safe from all earthly harm. One day when my weary soul is at rest, I’m going home to be forever bless’d. [Refrain] Didn’t my God deliver Moses from King Pharoah? And didn’t He cool the fiery furnace for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? When I think of what my God can do, He delivered Daniel, I know He will Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow deliver you. [Refrain] Hymn 95

Anthem

God Speaks to Each of Us Walker Chancel Choir God speaks to each of us as he makes us, then walks with us silently out of the night. These are the words we dimly hear: You, sent out, beyond your recall, go to the limits of your longing. Embody me. Flare up like a flame and make big shadows I can move in. Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror, just keep going. No feeling is final. Don’t let yourself lose me. Nearby is a country they call life. You will know it by its seriousness. Give me your hand.
