ward ether Recently, I visited one of our Adult Sunday School classes and someone raised the question, “Where are we on the building plans to renovate the Sanctuary?” I answered honestly, “We are in the process of trying to decide.” One of the ways the decision will be made is by the financial support we reveive from the Congregation. Last May, the Charge Conference voted to proceed with a $5.6 million Capital Campaign. For several weeks now, the Capital Campaign Committee has been meeting in preparation for the campaign. They have also met with a number of Sunday School classes that requested more information. We are now ready to move forward with the campaign. On Wednesday night, September 13, we invite every member of the Church, whether or not you have already heard about the plans, to attend our official campaign kick-off event. Enjoy a meal in the Fellowship Hall (at no cost) and stay for a brief presentation that will outline the progress of the Building Committee, the Capital Campaign Committee and how it all plays a part in the long term vision of Dunwoody UMC. The capital campaign is called Moving Forward Together. The reason? If every member (and friend) will support this project it will make it possible for us to move forward together in…

Worship… Community… and in Faith. This is an exciting time in the life of our Church as we stand at the edge of an incredible future. I hope you will make every effort to become as informed as possible and join us on September 13. As a Capital Campaign Committee, we promise to do all we can to help you have all the information you need so you can feel confident about supporting this project. See you Sunday, if not before! Blessings, Conceptual Renderings of Contemporary Service
