LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION BEAUTIFUL STALLION SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA , is situated in the Tehachapi Mountains at
4,000´ elevation, affording it perfect summer weather—sunny, dry and seldom above 90 degrees. About 15 miles from Tehachapi and 2 hours north of Los Angeles, Woodward West was built in the true spirit of Woodward: we collected input from our campers, visiting pros, and our own 40+ years of experience in the summer camp business to build the ultimate riding facility west of the Mississippi.

SKATEBOARDING THE SKATEBOARD PROGRAM AT WOODWARD WEST IS A RECIPE FOR SUCCESS —our California location is a mecca for
skaters. What does that mean for you? More pros, more often and closer ties to the skate industry. In other words, more skateboarding and more fun! You can count on more than two hours of daily instruction (don’t worry, you’ll rotate through all of our parks throughout the week!) in a class with skaters of your same general skill level. Then you’ll have another 9 hours each day to work on what you’ve learned, ride for fun, and skate with friends (instructors are available at each park to supervise and help you out if you want). You’ll also have the chance to compete in contests and have other fun ways to improve your skills. p g. 1 4 W W W.WOODWARDWEST.COM

WHAT IS INSTRUCTION? EVERY DAY CAMPERS RECEIVE UPWARDS OF 2 HOURS OF PERSONAL INSTRUCTION from our professional staff, followed by an additional 9 hours of open session where you’ll get the chance to work out the kinks and shred the ramps in a low-key, fun environment surrounded by your peers and the pros you met earlier in the day. Encouragement, challenge and progression are staple parts of our program and the directors and staff will be leading you all the way. All that considered and we’re talking a whole new bag of tricks and fresh skills you can show off to all the people back home.
NEW TO ACTION SPORTS? Woodward West is built with progression options at every skate park! Whether you are new to Skateboarding, BMX, MTB, Inline or Scooter, or trying to drop in for the first time, Woodward West has the staff to help you ride! On Sunday, the Woodward West staff host evaluations for all the campers so they can place you into an instruction group with campers who have similar skills, then you can shred together each morning with your instructor and new friends! p g. 3 4 W W W.WOODWARDWEST.COM
