Paris reflection

Paris Reflection Ashlin Riley Paris can be described as a large city full of entertainment, history, and fashion. One of my very first encounters with the surroundings of Paris was during the ferry ride. I saw Notre Dam and the Lock Bridge among other historical landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower. I didn’t feel quite submerged into the culture yet, however. My first encounter with the people of Paris was on the tube to the hotel. I noticed lots of starring- and not shy staring. I had quickly learned that it is normal for people to judge you based on what you are wearing by looking up and down at you constantly. I was not used to this. In Paris, the people are either looking at whoever they came with to talk about what you wear or they will give you a facial expression so you know what they think of you. Approval for most of the locals didn’t have much to do with bright colors. Rather, color was almost non-existent and muted . The Paris style is more often than not bold dark color with structural freedom.
