information point relating the way of st. james and the kumano kodõ a conceptual solution to an extremely repeated problem. in this case it was not actually needed as it was required. the result is a well known borrowed form filled with a collection of memories. loads of physical info full of meaning to inform in a digital era. tutor guadalupe piñera
information point a wall being a path studying the deformation of a concept to get to a new one. the result is a hybrid in bettween those situations, not only solving both but suggesting a very rich space where it was not tutor guadalupe piñera

spa(ce) of perception water treatment in the realm of the senses the spa as a turning back of the body to the perception lost in the visual age. a exploration of the senses not only in the water treatments themselves but in the way architecture is conceived. the building is enveloped with a second skin covering the nudity that is tightly related to the surrounding nature and keeping inside a cave, accesible through a waterspring door. conceptual design

“[...]with the ambition of working and answering the big amount of data introduced, superimposing the vision of the architect, the author, choosing between the many possible paths. [...]A proposal that does what good projects do, improves the site where it appears, collecting and naturalizing uncontrolled and disconnected actions to be included in the new neighborhood structure, turned now in an airconditioned public space. Certainly a magnificent project, and also very well developed. It is comforting to see the importance of time and thought in architecture.”
thesis project social condenser in cantodarea - marín within a very complex situation inherited from the past, the project solves the lack of public space and activities in the neighborhood. the building appears anisotropic and homogeneous, permeable and walkable and serves as a contention to the public space appropriation made by the neighbors. the very specific solution is an hyperrealistic aproach to form through the obsesive collection of the surrounding data, letting no issue unsolved. tutors jesús irisarri + gaudalupe piñera
