.....ABOUT ME I was born and raised in Spain, where I inherited my passion for design and construction through the influence of my grandfather who worked as a master builder and my elder sister, who holds a Master in Fine Arts. My interest in merging conceptual forms as well as feelings and sensorial experiences with functionality and how to build them lead me to pursue a M.Architecture from Universitat PolitĂŠcnica de ValĂŠncia (Spain) in 2014. Shortly afterwards my graduation I moved to Qatar (Middle East) where I could not only grow professionaly in a fast paced environment and a different scale and typology of projects but also personally experience a total new culture. Since then, trying to understand different cultures and glimpse how to give an architectural response to their questions has been a driving force in my professional development.

´´MOLINO DELS PASIEGO´´ RESTORATION Location: Sueca (Valencia, Spain) The project is not only the restoration of Sueca´s iconic XVIII century watermill but also is a way to give a response to the interrupted sequence of open spaces of the town, giving back to the city a portion of abandoned private property.
INFRASTRUCTURE
ZONING

STRATEGY: THE OPEN SPACES CONNECTION
The new plazas and garden, thus, are revitalized and included in the North-South axis of the citiy´s open spaces layout, the stroll is accompanied by the flow of water in ancient channels among outdoor sculpture exposition. On the other hand, the abandoned existing building is now conceived as a an art museum, integrating the art exposition with the explanation about traditional rice production. Inside, the beautiful and intricate machinery that pierces through the complete four storey building is preserved as a main feature. New proposed volumes serve the purpose of giving and appropiate answer to unfinished dividing walls.

´´LA UNIÓN´´ WINERY EXTENSION Location: Requena (Valencia, Spain) The target of this project is to revamp an existing functional industrial building with the intention of revitalizing a gentrified town in process of becoming a ghost town. The project doesn´t constrain itself to the existing winery for its touristic experience, it extends around the southern-east limit of the town, creating a twinning tissue of different activies, experiences and functional program that promotes the interaction between visitors and locals. The existing winery´s Southern facade is demolished and replaced by a glass curtain wall, opening the interior space to the extend vineyards landscape and bathing the prior dark cold space with sunlight. In the areas open to the public, visitors circulate the space through a terraced upper level in order to not interfere with the workers daily activities in ground level.

TERUEL´S RIVERSHORE URBAN PLAN Location: Teruel (Aragón, Spain) Turia´s river meadows is the biggest open space inside Teruel´s urban composition, where there is a great contrast between the medieval fortified city and the valley. The plan follows an already initiated process where there is a possibility to create a balance between nature and civilization. The transformation is conceived as a hybrid concept between this dual idea, generating halfway landscapes. This urban plan eludes the false controversy between nostalgia and optimism, creating simultaneously a present full of past and future. I created a balance, a modern activity built on to the trace of tradition. One part of the design takes place in the railway area, changing the remanent infrastructure and setting a new L shaped building. A new park visible from the Oval Promenade and the roundabout links the meadows with the expansion district, sewing city, river meadows and railway.
3) AFFORDABLE HOUSING
The stairs are shaped as zig-zag and allows the climb of a 20 meters slope, conforming to topography and avoiding dizziness that will be caused by a single downwards view.

STUDENT RESIDENCE IN ``EL CARMEN´´ Location: Valencia (Valencia, Spain)
``In New York, we should keep building up and we must do it on high´´. Theodore Starret. A student residence in the dense and compact historic district of El Carmen, which is the main hub for both student´s day and nightlife. The project is located in Carrer de la Blanqueria, 150 meters away from the impossing remains of the Medieval Towers of Serranos. The project´s intention is to pop by creating a new icon, a modern tower that defines, along with the medieval ones, a new skyline for the district´s view from the opposite riverbank. Highrise typology gives the freedom of reaching the desired number of rooms while freeing the ground level. A horizontal base recovers the street alignment and hosts the common services like gym, laundry and cafeteria. On ground floor, a much needed garden gives some relief to the congested medieval Arabic urban layout.

C.A.A ALMANSA Location: Almansa(Albacete, Spain) Employer: Diaz Romero S.L. The Aquatic Activities Center is located by Almansa’s lake shore, in an iconic landscape which is only accessible through the rural “path of Almansa”. The main intention of the design is to generate a construction that does not intend to match with the beauty and protagonism of the landscape, thus all functions are clustered on a single height building with the most schematic top view possible: a single rectangle. Using wooden planks on the facade as well as a green roofing allows the building to conceal and get integrated with the nature, on the other hand, the interior’s bright colors along with the lighting generates a diametrically opposed space.

TAWAR MALL Location: Doha (Qatar) Employer: EKG Espagna W.L.L. Located in Duhail district, Tawar Mall offers an unique shopping experience within the region. The building is one of the largest malls in Qatar, and the first of its class to offer attractions never seen before (like Bounce accrobatic ativities for young people) inside a huge wide interior open space. The modern meets the tradition with the reinterpretation of the traditional souq, by proposing an intimate walkway between fountains and small inner shops offering local products on the rooftop. Tawar Mall also features a diverse mix of up to 300 stores. The project was brought into reality by the collaboration and effort of multiple agents, being EKG Espagna awarded with the Interiors Desing & Build package.

02 WILLIAM ST. Location: Edinburgh (Scotland) Employer: DECIEM (Canada) Located in the iconic historical district of Old Town, Edinburgh, this small beauty store is in a Listed B building (regional heritage). The main concept of the store is to play around with a consecutive succession of compression and decompression of the space ocurring alongside the path of travel of customers. In the den, the most intimate space of the store, an almost museistic cubic display flanqued by a niche wall hosts the high-end exclusive brand products. The compression here reaches its maximum with a suspended perforated metallic cage that opens only to allow pass through of the reclaimed industrial pendant lights.
