MADRIDELUXE 2015-2017 mark: 8/10 Madrid,Spain professor: N. Maruri

Madrideluxe, my thesis project, not only is a constructive proposal for a new luxurious centre in Madrid, but it also is a sensible response for a still unsolved problem. On the one hand, Madrideluxe takes advantage of the use of new materials and structural shells in order to reshape both the concept and function of shopping and pleasure. On the other hand, it works like a joint, creating a continuous space between the two parks and the two banks of the river.
ORGANISED INTO 3 LEVELS. Level 1, park+paths. Level 2, high runway. Level 3, multi-programme towers.

Milano 2013, countless newspaper articles speak about the problems caused by non-integrated foreigners and how the population claims for a suitable solution. Consequently, the project is based in 2 main principles: Firstly, a new kind of centre which incorporates both bedrooms and workshops. And secondly, the study of origami structures like a skin, which shapes the building distinctively. This skin also provides the building with a see-through insulation layer.
