SCRIPT: Hi, I am Javier Santamaria, a teenager who studies in San Jose School. In Enterprising Iniciative class, our teacher gives to us a new and originally project: “Running your own business”. In this project, I am going to think about the society, all the days we use to saw a lot of graffiti on the street, walls painted, windows, traffic signals, trains and more; all of these are considerate by the law like a crime or vandalism, it go against the law of our actual society. With this project I want to change all of these. I am going to start a revolutionary idea, paints and graffiti shouldn’t be a crime, and I want to transform it to street art. I want to meet all of the writers or graffiti painters of the country and put together in a new business created by me, called the “GROW ART”.
In this business, I want to give to these young and artistic people a great job for them. They are going to work painting the facades and walls of the houses, while they win money doing the thing that they prefer and love, the Graffiti Art. They will work in this business, it is a decoration shop. While they enjoy painting and creating new styles on the walls of our future clients, they give to our clients their feelings in form of pictures, letters, and more‌ I choose this kind of business because since I was a child, I love the graffiti paints, I saw it all the days while I went to school or when I went out with my friends. One day I started painting simple letters in papers or notebooks, like a normal beginner With the time I began to go painting with my friends, first we painted walls, traffic signals, abandoned sites like old train station, old houses and more, then we started to paint trains in other cities. Since this epoch I love the graffiti.
Our decoration shop offer to our clients a new kind of houses decoration, a part for it, the staff of the business will be young imaginative people, the people less creative will work with another products like home-made caps, T-shirts or sweatshirts. The most originally clothes of your city, with your name, a logo, a symbol that you like, or all that you can imagine. The business will be put in run with the money that we will win with the shell of our products in the street, and then we will rent a local in Burgos, a big city with a lot of young graffiti painters without money. Time to time our business will grow up like bubbles, more and more teenagers will come to us looking for a job to them. In a few years the voice will be passed and our shop become the most important and favorite decoration shop and will have a lot of locals around the city. The kind of clients that we look for are people of all ages, normally teenagers, that they like the Graffiti Art.
