WHY I LOVE WORKING AT fiber When Dan said he was starting a mortgage company because he wanted to fix the many things that were wrong with the mortgage process, I was all ears. We’d both had bad mortgage experiences recently, and both have the attitude to fix things that are broken rather than shrug our shoulders. The idea that I could get in on the ground level of a company that is simply not going to stop until we’ve revolutionized the process for everyone involved – our clients, along with our Realtor partners – was beyond intriguing. I’d soon leave behind a successful career in auto finance to start this new adventure. I’m so proud of what we can offer our clients today! The experience is just so much faster and easier than I’d ever imagined it could be! About Me: I have an extensive background in consumer lending, customer service, and employee development. This means I can make the mortgage process easy and fast for your clients. Who needs more stress when buying a home? We certainly don’t – let me take some of that stress from them, all while delivering amazing rates. One of the biggest complaints consumers have about the loan process is communication. Our unique-to-fiber technology allows robust electronic communication options – including daily updates to clients – allows us to communicate just the way you and your clients prefer. Plus, I make myself available by giving all clients my personal cell phone number.
BUYERS TRUST US. REALTORS REFER US.
We Bring the Joy to Every Inspection
I’ve spent many years honing business-to-business skills – as your partner, I understand that you’re literally trusting me with your livelihood. Not only do I take that responsibility seriously, I constantly look for ways we can grow our businesses, TOGETHER. It’s a true partnership, and you’ll feel that starting with the very first sale we work on together.

LOVE IS IN THE
AIR
LOVE is a word we hear a lot, especially in the month of February. How often do we say we “love” something? What is it that we truly love and spend most of our precious time devoted to?
For me, there are many things I love, especially God and my family, but also high on my list is that I love living in Jacksonville (Northeast Florida)!
Simply Dwell
As a Jacksonville native, I’ve always had special memories growing up here even after I moved away. Some of my favorite memories include the amazing fireworks downtown (the “waterfall” of fireworks off the bridge is a beautiful sight!), being able to do day trips to the beach, and all the festivals and activities offered year-round.
stylish and affordable Simply Dwell Staging: Vacant and Occupied Home Staging
Jacksonville has always felt like a “big small town” to me, and I love it! Though it is the largest city by area in the contiguous United States, it never felt that big to me.
Simply Dwell Services: Occupied Home Consultation Professional Cleaning Photography (Drone, 360 Matterport,
are a proud military town, have highly-rated schools, a very nice and efficient international airport, an NFL team, the annual Georgia-Florida college football game, The Players Championship golf tournament, and we are home to the PGA Tour. I could go on and on about life on the First Coast! My family and I have traveled to many other places, and while I love traveling, the old saying, “There is no place like home” is so true. It’s always a little sad when a vacation ends, but it’s amazing that we get to come home to a place where people vacation! I often forget how blessed we are to live in such a great destination location and I don’t always take advantage of all the things to do here.
Power Washing Moving & More!
I love that Jacksonville has so much to offer. We have major sporting events, great concerts and shows, we have the country if you want to get away from it all, then we also have fun urban areas and restaurants. I really think Jacksonville has something for everyone, including an incredible climate that gives us a taste of each season, but not too much cold weather!
This year, I hope to spend more time exploring new places around town and making even more neat memories with my family. Let’s all take the time to stop and reflect on the people, places, and things we truly love and make them the focus of our heart’s devotion!
With Love,

All of that, and I haven’t even touched on all of the water activities available with our proximity to the awesome Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal, and our rivers and lakes for boating, fishing, watersports, and more. We

Law with a Personal Touch

rowing up in Sebring — a small town in Central Florida — Ali Griffin would often hear her father tell stories about his work as a real estate broker.
“I heard the talk nightly around the table — what’s going on in the community, what kind of obstacles he was running into, jobs he was working.” Little did she know it, but those dinner conversations would foreshadow Ali’s future career in real estate law. In high school, Ali’s first job was as an assistant at a local law firm specializing in real estate. She went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Florida State University and then enrolled in law school at Florida Coastal. That’s what first brought her to Jacksonville. “I worked for the Department of Business and Professional Regulation in legislative affairs while in college. So a lot of signs pointed to law school.” While attending law school, Ali discovered a love for real estate and contract law. So, she began reaching out to local firms, hoping to find an internship at a firm she connected with.
I think this community has so much to offer people. I’m proud to live in this city, be a part of it, and watch it continue to grow and flourish …
Ali and her husband, Matthew, recently celebrated 15 years together!

“I got an offer to interview at Head, Moss, Fulton & Noble and got an internship in ‘06. They didn’t have a position posted, but Bob Head received the letter I wrote about being interested in real estate, and I was offered an internship there, which turned into an offer to be an Associate upon graduation.” And so began Ali’s career as a real estate law professional.
Being able to put people at ease in the closing room is something I really strive to do and enjoy being able to do.
BECOMING AN EXPERT
Apart from a two-year stint in title work, Ali has remained with the same firm since she landed that internship back in 2006. She became a partner at the firm in 2013, and today, she leads the group’s real estate team. All these years later, Ali recalls the lessons she learned from listening to her father around the dinner table. From an early age, she recognized that real estate isn’t a cookie-cutter business. So, as an attorney, she values treating every transaction with the unique level of care it deserves. “Every transaction varies, and that is so much in part to the people, their personalities, and how they handle what can be a stressful situation. Being able to put people at ease in the closing room is something I really strive to do and enjoy being able to do.”
Ali with happy clients.
Ali understands what it takes to be successful in real estate, and she’s willing to be there for her partners and clients outside of a traditional nine-to-five schedule. That’s one of her personal value-adds. “I know that time doesn’t stop between Friday afternoon and Monday morning, and there are things that need to be addressed in that timeframe. I pride myself on providing that additional support for them to continue to make their transactions run smoothly and efficiently.” LOOKING AHEAD
Outside of work, Ali can be found with her husband, Matt, and their nine-year-old twins, Chris and Kate. She enjoys playing tennis and golf as well as traveling with her family. In 2022, Ali is celebrating several personal milestones — 15 years of marriage, 15 years as an attorney, and 40 trips around the sun. As she reflects on her past and where she’s headed, she feels a sense of contentment. She feels she’s right where she’s meant to be.
Ali enjoys spending time with her family when she’s not working.
“I’m happy that I ended up in Jacksonville. I think this community has so much to offer people. I’m proud to live in this city, be a part of it, and watch it continue to grow and flourish … As for me, I would like to continue to grow the business and keep the reputation the firm has established for itself, and continue to try to evolve as the real estate market evolves.” For more information, please visit www.hmfglaw.com.

What do you LOVE most about living in Jacksonville? MESHELL PERRY, SVR REALTY
Well, I was born here and never lived anywhere else. Some feel sorry for me but others agree that NE Florida is a great home. I love seeing the city grow and change. I love all of the water that we have access to for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc...We have beautiful beaches, a huge river, top schools, a relatively low cost of living with no state income taxes, etc...and great real estate prices!

TAMMY BARANOWSKI, MOMENTUM REALTY
I’ve been a Jacksonville native all my life and I love that there are so many cultural neighborhood “pockets.” Want hipster? Try Riverside or Murray Hill. Want sophisticated? Try the Town Center or Julington Creek. Looking to cut loose and have a little fun? Hit the beaches. Looking for a posh neighborhood to retire? Check out Avondale or Nocatee.
I love that there’s always something fun to do in Jacksonville! Whether it’s an arts market, a seafood festival, or a music concert at one of our awesome venues, you’ll always have something fun to do with family or friends in our city.
KEELY KOPP, RE/MAX UNLIMITED KENDRA PECK, COLDWELL BANKER VANGUARD REALTY
I love the access to all the outdoor activities! From the beaches to the river and creeks (paddleboarding/boating/sunbathing) to the Riverside Arts Market and the many festivals that happen here!

I love that there are so many cool surrounding areas for day trips or even a quick getaway! St. Augustine, Amelia Island, Jekyll Island, Savannah, just to name a few!

I love how Jacksonville has embraced art with all of the public art you see driving around downtown and surrounding areas. I love to be outdoors and we have the largest urban park system in the U.S. to explore. We have an amazing culinary scene and our city hosts some great concerts! The people are so warm and welcoming here, our community loves giving back and is always so supportive of non-profits. I also truly believe Jacksonville has something to offer everyone! Due to Jacksonville being a wonderful place to live and still an affordable place to live, Zillow named Jacksonville the #2 hottest market for 2022.

rising stars As this month’s Rising Stars, Ryan and Amanda Haynes consider what is in the best interest of the client as the leading factor of all decisions. The Haynes Group at EXIT Real Estate Gallery, values their relationship with their clients above all else. “Building lasting relationships has also been very fulfilling. I have met and worked with so many people in our community and I get to see it all the way through,” says Amanda. They work hard and fight hard to achieve these relationships.
RYAN & AMANDA
HAYNES

PARTNERED SUCCESS
Ryan has been a REALTOR® for roughly five years, with his wife, Amanda, officially joining him at the end of 2020. “As a husband-and-wife team we are able to work together in all transactions towards one common goal,” says Ryan. “That is assisting our customers and making sure that nothing is missed while keeping that personal level of care to each and every customer.” Amanda adds that “we both have very uniquely different strengths and weaknesses. It allows us to deliver a more complete experience.” AMANDA’S FULFILLMENT
Before becoming a REALTOR® in December of 2020, Amanda worked as an emergency room nurse at Baptist Health/Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
“Once Ryan got his license, I would help him where I could. I loved listening to him talk and negotiate. I would always follow up a call with, ‘I would have said this.’ He wouldn’t even know I was listening,” she explains. “He encouraged me to get my license, but change is not something I enjoy.”
It was in the heat of that change that she decided to push for her license.
“In my previous line of work, the relationship was fleeting, very short-term, and often not knowing the outcome. That change has been one of my favorite parts.” Amanda was ready to get her license in mid-2020, but due to delays related to COVID-19, she was unable to take her state exam until December. However, her involvement in the business did not start there.
HARD WORK & FAMILY @realproducers
realproducersmag.com
“I was extremely confident as a woman, wife, mother, and nurse but didn’t have much confidence in learning a new professional trade. When Covid emerged in March of 2020, work in the emergency department really slowed,” she continues. “I enjoyed having that time with my children as they were home doing virtual school, but I longed for professional fulfillment.”
RYAN’S REALIZATION
Ryan got his license in late 2016 and began the process of buying and selling in 2017. He explains, “Originally, I thought I wanted to own rentals and had never thought of becoming a REALTOR®. Life had different plans.” When Ryan and Amanda are not working, they enjoy spending time together with their three children.
Jacksonville Real Producers • 21
On top of his intensive work as a REALTOR®, Ryan has also been a firefighter with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department since 2005. IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY
Ryan and Amanda met as young children in elementary school. Amanda recounts the time in 4th grade when Ryan gave her a Valentine’s Day card. She adds that she “had a huge crush on him at the time!” The two began dating during their freshman year of high school and have
been together since 1999. They got married in October of 2006 and have two sons and a daughter: Everett 12, Perry 9, and Hannah 6. “Growing up, family was always most important,” Amanda points out. “We have a large family and spent lots of time growing up playing with cousins and having large family celebrations. It translates now by having a close-knit family.” Ryan adds, “Life can be stressful. I love it when the kids get on a roll. The impromptu moments where the simplest things
the kids are doing make us laugh and they feed off it to keep it going.” Ryan and Amanda both note that they love to spend time outside with their family. Ryan specifically draws attention to spending time on the lake near where they live. The husband-and-wife team makes sure that their children see and understand how hard they work for their success. Ryan elaborates that “leaving behind three strong, productive members of society that are good people, do the right thing, and contribute to the betterment of people” is the legacy that he wishes to leave.

“As a husband-and-wife team we are able to work together in all transactions towards one common goal,” says Ryan. Amanda follows that thought up with, “we think of things two different ways and create multiple solutions. We are able to delegate tasks to each other that we know will be done better by the other. I feel it creates a more pleasant experience.”
I WANT TO WORK DOING SOMETHING I LOVE, THAT ALLOWS FOR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH.

Ryan says that the greatest strength of being a husband-and-wife team is their ability to “assist our customers and make sure that nothing is missed while keeping that personal level of care to each and every customer.” “I want to work doing something I love, that allows for personal and professional growth,” says Amanda. Ryan and Amanda both agree that the future ahead will be exciting. Ryan concludes, “We are working towards building a brand that can sustain other agents as well. We would love to bring more people to our team so that we are able to help that many more people. Personally, I am not sure that life could get much better. We are all happy and healthy. Life is good!” @realproducers

“That impacted me so much. I wasn’t able to fly to Peru to say my last goodbye to him due to the pandemic restrictions of not being able to travel outside the country in 2020.”
A Habit of Serving
As the youngest of six children, four sisters and two brothers, Carmen is thankful for a career that provides her many opportunities to give back to her community, just like her family has always helped others in both Peru and the United States.

Jacksonville area in any way she can. She and her family care for others without expecting anything in return, but they often find themselves on the receiving end of their own blessings after helping those in need. Carmen realizes that giving back is “incredibly rewarding and…unlocks your potential skills and helps you grow.” Born and raised in Peru, Carmen has a background in public relations, and, prior to entering real estate, she spent 20 years in the corporate treasury services area of the banking industry. In that role, she worked as a primary contact for customers and played a critical role in maintaining and enhancing customer relations to ensure customer satisfaction. Her ability to speak three languages (English, Spanish, and Italian) helped, and continues to help, her serve a diverse client base. REALTORS® Giving Back
One of the ways Carmen gives back to the community is by serving as the president of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR), Jacksonville Network.
“It has been an honor to work with each of the WCR women, and I am so proud of what we accomplished, together, in 2021,” Carmen says. The Jacksonville Network of WCR was proud to put on a “Roaring 20s” fashion show in September to raise money for community endeavors. The fashion show was held at the Alhambra Theatre where an authentic automobile from the 1920s greeted guests outside the entrance. Carmen said the event was a “roaring” success and allowed the group to make a donation to the Hubbard House in Jacksonville, a domestic violence service center.
And, when they aren’t helping others, they don’t miss a chance to have a good time, Peruvian style! They celebrate Peru’s Independence Day, and they often get together at other times during the year to enjoy their culture through food, dance, and crafts.
Under her leadership, the Jacksonville Network exceeded its expectations in 2021 and was nominated for Network of the Year. Carmen is also excited to serve on the 2022 WCR State Nominating Committee. @realproducers
Another way in which Carmen serves the community is through the Peruvian Club where she previously served as president. She said the Peruvian Club was created to help individuals and families in need. During her presidency, the club supported families with health emergencies, as well as a family who lost a child. The funds they raise are donated to support these families in their most trying times.

While Carmen enjoys her career in real estate because it “provides a path to financial freedom, a flexible schedule and the personal fulfillment of helping families own their home,” she also savors time for yoga, walks on the beach, Peruvian dance classes, and spending time with her family. She appreciates the family vacations she is able to experience with her two sons, her daughter-in-law, and her two grandchildren. Carmen always remembers that “each day is a blessing and...we only get to live it once.”
Appreciating Every Moment
Carmen lives by the motto: “The most beautiful things are not associated with money; they are memories and moments,” and she is intentional about appreciating every moment, especially since she knows from personal experience just how fleeting life can be.
Peruvian Pride
“One of our primary goals at the council is to provide our members with exceptional real estate-related programs, referrals, a pathway to leadership, and a network of like-minded professionals,” says Carmen. “The council has helped me grow personally and professionally by giving me confidence, support, and camaraderie.”

Outside the Office
At 65 years of age, Carmen’s oldest brother, Jose Antonio Llontop, unexpectedly passed away after open-heart surgery in Peru. “After he came from intensive care, he woke up and the doctors let us know the surgery went well,” Carmen says. “The very next day, he had breakfast, he ate well, he looked good, and, all of a sudden, a couple of hours later, they let us know he had a blood clot and passed away.”
Of course, when you do it well, once is enough.
Each day is a blessing and... we only get to live it once.

WHITE ABOVE AND BEYOND It is not about getting the job done. It is about getting the job done fully and honestly. It is about giving 100 percent in every situation. Jennifer White far exceeds 100 percent every time. For Jennifer, every detail is paramount to truly satisfy her clients. “I love problem-solving and helping people find that perfect house!” SUDDEN CHANGES
Before real estate, Jennifer worked for a catalog publishing company in Chicago. Specifically, in advertising and sales. In 2001, her former husband was relocated to Jacksonville. She then left that company and moved to Northeast Florida in early September of that year.

Following the events of September 11, 2001, few jobs were paying what Jennifer had been used to in Chicago. “I was just being patient,” she explains. Jennifer suddenly began her real estate career in that same year. “I started helping a neighbor who was doing some part-time work for a local developer, Paul Fletcher at Fletcher Land Corporation,” she describes. “Paul Fletcher noticed that I was going above and beyond what was required of the basic administrative position. When he learned about my education and previous sales and marketing background, he encouraged me to bring him my resume. He also highly encouraged me to get into real estate.” “He asked me to interview for a sales position. The VP of Sales hired me on the spot and told me to go get my real estate license and an onsite sales position would be waiting on me!” she illustrates. “So, with absolutely ZERO knowledge of real estate, I registered for my seven-day crash course, the eighth-day class test, and the ninth-day state exam!”
I TRULY GET A RUSH FROM SEEING THE LOOK
During her time in onsite sales, Jennifer accumulated core experiences that shaped her business 21 years later.

Jennifer’s drive has been going above and beyond since the very beginning.
WATCHING THEM
“When I was onsite, I treated all walk-ins equally, always followed up with every walk-in, and I learned to be very organized. We would promote a new high-rise condo tower months in advance of our actual launch so I kept detailed lists of any and all prospects who might be interested in the new tower. Once it was time to actually launch the tower, I already had a long list of prospects.”
PLACE THEIR FURNITURE OR PICTURE THEIR NEW LIVES IN
Although her dedication was operating at a high level, she knew there was so much still to learn.

“I came in on days off to meet prospects, attended the construction meetings so I understood the quality of construction (very important to a buyer because they have nothing to

see), and attended any design meeting so I could accurately paint the picture of how the detailed lobbies and amenities would look.” She retained and adapted these over-a-decade-long series of experiences when she transferred from onsite sales to general real estate in 2012. “I also try to always be present for my clients by picking up my phone whenever possible; I quickly respond to emails, wake up early, or stay up late to get that one final initial or signature; truly whatever it takes! I take every client personally, so it bothers me and challenges me at the same time to uncover that perfect fit for them.” GROWING AND LIVING STRONG
Jennifer comes from a large family of four brothers — compromising and problem-solving are just some of her innate skills. Both sides of her family come from Atlanta, GA. “We pretty much lived at Murphey Candler Park where my dad was head coach of my brothers’ football and baseball teams and my mom was the booster club president! While my brothers played football, I was the shortest, but loudest cheerleader every year!” Tragically, her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer while Jennifer was in high school.

“After high school graduation, with a sick mom still at home, I bounced around schools depending on her health. I started at East Tennessee State University but came home after my first semester of my sophomore year because she was so sick. I transferred to the University of Maryland that year. Unfortunately, our mom passed that July,” she shares. “I felt a little lost that whole following year at University of Maryland and ultimately ended up transferring to Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.” “Having a terminally ill parent for five years makes you a little stronger,” she concludes.
Today, Jennifer has a fabulous and supportive husband, Gary, two sons, Peyton (14) and Oliver (6), and an Australian shepherd named Dingo. “We love doing a plethora of things together – boating, fishing, cooking, playing games, family movie night,” she describes. “My husband and I are kind of homebodies so we spend a lot of time together with our kids! My dad also lives two streets over from us, so we spend a lot of time with him as well!” INTEGRITY AHEAD
“I truly get a rush from seeing the look on people’s faces or watching them place their furniture or picture their new lives in their new home,” she reveals. “I love when clients imagine family get-togethers, where their Christmas tree will go, or where they will hide Easter eggs, plan kids’ birthday parties, where their parents or in-laws will stay when they come visit.” One of Jennifer’s favorite business activities is finding a client’s “hot button.” She elaborates that she “enjoys finding those hot buttons and turning them into a more focused sales direction.” “I am blessed beyond means with the best clients ever!” Jennifer highlights that one of the most important practices in her life has been integrity. While she was in high school, her father once told her that “if you don’t have integrity, you have nothing.”
Congratulations to Jennifer White for her lifetime of hard work and dedication. Her integrity and experience always go above and beyond and will never let a client down.
