01 URBAN RESIDENCE Academic work | II Semester | Hyderabad, India Site area : 480 sqm | Typology : Residential | Duration ; 1.5 months
The Residence has been designed for a nuclear family intending to reside in an urban neighborhood. The Initial thought was to provide a comfortable, agreeable, and mitigation space for the occupants. A space that could help to detach from the outer world and bring close to Nature. Hence it is nestled in between a water loop that forms the central focus of the house by inviting light and air inside the house.
The Residence highlights the character of tranquility by integrating water and other Green areas. All spaces in the house look up towards green and natural elements for the wellbeing and comfort of family members living n it. The house provides an opportunity to witness the transition between public and private zoned areas by integrating Nature into it. It opens up to multiple green areas at different levels but by maintaining the sense of privacy and security to its inhabitants.

04 SOCIAL MATRIX
(winner)
International Competition | Docex-Doce India | Team of 3 Typology : Urban Square| Duration ; 54 Hours
Tianducheng is an urban development that has failed spectacularly. Scattered along a barren landscape, towering skyscrapers collect cobwebs and apartment buildings are left abandoned. Parisian facades rise high on both sides of the boulevard. But the street vendors are selling steamed dumplings, not baguettes. Locals sip green tea, not wine. Developers started construction of a satellite city on Tianducheng in 2007, complete with a 1:3 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower and a recreation of the fountain from the Luxemburg Gardens. Original plans had an expected capacity of 10,000 residents. Today the town’s population is around 10% of that.
