ALGORITHMIC EXPLORATION IN GRASSHOPPER

This is an early grasshopper experiment employing a point arractor to manipulated the faces of a square grid

Viewed from the side however, the twisting of square panels produces a complex form

PERFORATED SURFACE DOUBLE CURVATURE

Beginning with lofted surface created in Rhino, I utilised a gradient analysis module to inform the diameters of circles created on the it.

The circles and surface were then extruded and subtracted from each other, creating perforations

STRIATED CURVED TOWER

This from is a composite from. The tubes are a ‘tube loft’ of curved inputted from rhino. The ‘levels’ of the tower, however where created by using a curve divder, and then a curve on surface to create the ‘levels’. This left flat curves which were the extrude to emphasis the striation of the original solid form
