Melissa Pease / Artistic Colour Director Melissa Pease is the artistic colour director for J Beverly Hills. Having found her passion for designing hair immediately after high school, gave her the opportunity to work with in elite salons. As a stylist she has expanded her horizons, knowledge, and expertise, sharing her passion for the art of hair color by traveling nationally and internationally for over two decades. Her strong belief that professional products should always remain in professional hands has led her to gaining a position of growing and developing the J Beverly Hills brand of colour. She is now able to incorporate all of her knowledge and utilize a wide spectrum of creativity to achieve anything she dreams up.

Carrie Bailon / Long Hair Dressing Artist Carrie Bailon is a fun and passionate educator who loves inspiring hairdressers to educate and invest in themselves. She has taken this motto to heart by utilizing it in her day to day life, allowing her to lead by example. She believes that everyone's fabulous and has their own flavor, so she continues to be the "cheerleader of the industry.� Due to this belief system and her dedication to our community, she co-founded The Hair Nerds. The focus of The Hair Nerds is education, utilizing social media and real life stories to better improve individual skills and up-and-coming products. As a big advocate for continued education, she has had opportunities to learn from many of the most influential educators of our time. The most impactful mentor she had the pleasure of working with was NAHA extraordinaire Steve Elias. Thanks to her time spent with Steve, she was able to find her eye and foster her craft further in hair color and editorial hair. The saying goes that there are no shortcuts in life, but really there are no shortcuts to hair. Carrie wants to continue to move forward and help lead other stylists on their journey. As J Beverly Hills brand education support, her goal is to spark an interest, and help catapult you to the next level of your creativity.

As a multi-faceted stylist, Arya Varji specializes in fusing modern precision cutting techniques and traditional barbering techniques to create individualized styles that are both versatile and fashionable. He strives to skew the line between new and old by incorporating contemporary elements into enduring styles to create an effect that is both familiar and fresh. Through both his training and endless pursuit of personal improvement he developed a keen eye for detail and a penchant for precision cutting. when he's not teaching, he's behind the chair full time as a senior stylist, creative team member, and in-house educator, as well as a J Beverly Hills grooming artist.
Eric Bachelet / Guest Artist Eric Bachelet’s French style and creative vision as a hair artist emerged at the age of nineteen. His career expanded with designers like Chanel, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent impacting runway hair trends worldwide. Bachelet’s list of clientele includes Heidi Klum, Nicole Richie, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian and Rebecca Romijn, among many others. When Eric Bachelet joined forces with Juan Juan and J Beverly Hills he became known as “The French Man“ and the Updo Artist. Eric has been with J Beverly Hills for many years inspiring and teaching his craft in classes, academies and events.

Pablo Kümin / Gue st Artist Pablo Kümin was born and raised in Switzerland, but started travelling around the world at a very young age. He began his career at Kuhn Intercoiffure, a salon of high renown with its own Academy. Pablo was himself still in his 3rd apprenticeship year, as he started working as a trainer and teaching workshops both nationally and internationally.
He has been driven by his passion and ambition from the very start and paired them with swiss perfectionism, so he was able to achieve big goals at a very young age. During his first two apprenticeship years Pablo was already spending all his free time working on productions, shows, shootings and assisting big names in the hair industry all over Europe, when he was awarded Swiss Intercoiffure Newcomer of the year in Rome. In 2011 he already released two own collections which were featured in several publications, and designed his very first hair dress. In 2012 he joined the agency Scout as hair & make-up artist, he took over a leading position at the Academy and won the Swiss Avantgarde Hairdresser of Year award with his first hair dresses collection.
Shows in Switzerland and abroad followed, as well as Balmain Hair and Redken sponsorships, so that he could create his 2nd hair dresses collection, which was published more than 50 times and is still used by Balmain Hair in its worldwide communication. In 2013 he became first a member of the Intercoiffure Creative Team before changing to Tony&Guy. In the same year Pablobecame global ambassador for Balmain Hair and Art Director at Haar Vital, while still working worldwide on shows and shootings, for example at London Fashion Week or in Los Angeles for Global Concept JBH.
He also started his own label Pablo Kümin Hair Couture which features dresses and caps made of hair and won three awards, one as Swiss Hairdresser of the Year. he`s newst sucess is to won as youngest ever the Hall of Fame Titel in the whole history of the hairdressing awards worldwide also he won 2nd time Swiss Hairdresser of the year. Pablo is currently based in Zurich and London and travels from there worldwide for his jobs.
