Growing up, Vince’s family was in the restaurant business, in fact, he hails from three generations of restaurateurs. It was a natural assumption that he would join the family restaurant business, and he did, for a time, but that all changed after he and partner Frank Stuart began speculating on condominiums in Pensacola and in the New Orleans Warehouse District.
The year 2004 would see Vince get his real estate license and become a residential realtor with the Warehouse District and West St. Tammany as his specialties. A year later, he and Frank would purchase a home in The Sanctuary where they would live for 16 years. The years that he spent in The Sanctuary were not only wonderful years for him personally, but professionally as well. “As my real estate business grew, it was only natural that I became an expert where I have lived for 16 years.” His intimate knowledge of The Sanctuary as a long-time resident has been a vital asset to his clients. A record year, in 2021 Liuzza Realty Group represented the buyers and sellers of $16,900,000 of home and homesites in The Sanctuary. Clearly, Vince’s first-hand knowledge of the neighborhood’s housing trends, prices, and phases, as well as the relationships he has developed, have resulted in a solid record of success.
In 2016, Vince formed Liuzza Realty Group after earning his brokerage license. The decision to form his own company was an easy one for him, as he explains, “I inherited my entrepreneurial spirit and drive from my father, and this was the right time in my life and career for me to independently “brand” myself and build a company on the foundation of my Experience, Professionalism, and Attention to Detail.” The difference at Liuzza Realty Group for its agents is that they receive encouragement and support from Vince to build their own personal brand, not the brand of the brokerage. This model is unlike that of typical corporate brokerages. This difference, says Vince, “ has put our agents on the cutting edge of what is now a national trend of personal branding.”
When asked about his favorite aspect of his day to day, without hesitation, Vince says, “The ACTION.” He appreciates the fact that no day is ever the same and never dull. From marketing and meetings to photo shoots, showings and strategies, each day brings a new and rewarding challenge for the realtor/broker.
“Listen to your realtor, “ explains Vince when asked what advice he would give clients when it is their time to buy or sell their property. He expands on that notion, logically. “You researched and hired the person whom you feel has the best experience to represent you, so listen to their advice.” He also adds that it is important to take the emotional apsect out of the decision making process when real estate is involved because it is a business decision. These real estate pearls of wisdom could save someone a great deal of stress in the today’s complex real estate market.
Vince has extended the reach and services of Liuzza Realty Group beyond southwest Louisiana, as he is now licensed in Mississippi, and Frank is licensed in Florida, where he has sold over $30,000,000 of properties to Vince’s Louisiana clients in the Pensacola Beach region and specifically, the Portofino Island Resort.
