EXPERIENCE HDR, INC. | OMAHA, NE As an architectural intern in a large firm, I was given tasks ranging from design of an urban park to modeling as-built, & construction documents. The highlight of the summer was engaging in a charrette in Chicago for an avant rehabilitation project.

The MAKE Collaboration is a team with the goal of producing spaces, products, and ideas ina cumulative effort, intentionally across a range of professional disciplines.
Nicholas Pajerski and myself founded MAKE as a vehicle to put forth our design aspirations. MAKE’s first project is our patented invention, the Prop laptop stand we co-designed. MAKECollab.com RENEWABLE ENERGY INFRASTRUCTUREs | UNL | LINCOLN, NE Working with Professor Chris Ford of UNL-Arch and two graduate students to research the possibilities of renewable energies in urban sites. Design, existing site modeling, and research of products were involved in this project.

RANDY BROWN ARCHITECTS | OMAHA, NE A summer internship working on awards submissions, residential interior design, office space redesign along with construction documents and on site construction.

WM F. MCCORMICK’S HEATING & A/C | YORK, NE Worked on a crew with two others spending most of the summer installing HVAC equipment on residential and commercial projects. Skills that acquired include: knowledge of sheet metal work, HVAC systems design, and installation of HVAC systems.

KIRKHAM-MICHAEL | INTERN | YORK, NE Learned how to survey with professional equipment; which was a great eye opener for an architecture student. Excellent coworkers created a great learning opportunity.
