Flexible Program Options

For students in both 10-month and 12-month programs, we offer HoliDaycare on most Jewish holidays when the preschool is closed, but the Bender JCC building is open. HoliDaycare is only available to children currently enrolled in the Bender JCC preschool. Space is limited.

The Bender JCC of Greater Washington

Our children are fortunate to have access to the wonderful Bender JCC facility, which includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gymnasium, art and dance studios, walking paths, playgrounds, an art gallery and indoor play space. The multigenerational and multicultural community at the Bender JCC enhances our preschoolers’ learning experiences.

The Great Outdoors

With two playgrounds, a growing garden, and an abundance of grassy areas, our children benefit from experiences that enlighten and

engage outside the classroom. Each day includes learning opportunities outside our four walls, so a warm pair of snow boots and raingear are a must!

Enrichment Classes Our enrichment classes in yoga, science and cooking are offered for children enrolled in our 3-yearold and 4-year-old programs. In addition, the talented staff in the different departments of the Bender JCC are a resource to our preschool and offer our students a wide variety of professionally led after school activities. Many students take advantage of Bender JCC afterschool activities such as swimming, sports & recreation, dance and art programs.

Children in the 10 month program can join our fun summer program. Those in the 3 and 4-year-old programs have instructional swim. Free swim is part of the program every day for all children. The program is also filled with unique weekly activities including magic, dance performances and Wacky Water Day.
