1. Water-proof membrane in basement wall channels water into drainage 2. Under floor Heating 3. Thermal wall insulation 4. Sound created by loud Exhibitions absorbed into padded walls 5. Basement floor water proofing 6. Steel I beam joint 7. Spotlights and affected created in dark controlled environment 8. Profiled sheet Metal Tray 9. In situ cast concrete slab 10. Main entrance 11. Covered Walkway 12. Heat dispersal from solar energy absorbed by the fabric 13. In summer hot interior air is allowed to leave 14. Natural air ventilates rooms 15. Air on the first and second floor travels under the circulation corridors in order to cool the classrooms 16. Louvres on cool tower allow cool to flow into corridor, but can be shut in order to control how much cold air is received 17. Louvre on second side of cool tower 18. Water Feature Running down Inside Glass of Cool Tower 19. Cold air descends down the cool tower 20. Cold air is also able to circulate through the double ceiling height opening 21. Warm air can rise through this opening to encourage air circulation 22. Double ceiling height between first and second floor 23. Triple Glazing 24. Translucent Fabric Textile 25. Exterior Exit Second Floor 26. Steel I Beam 27. Roof Thermal Insulation 28. Prato Roof tiles 29. Solar Panel 30. Evaporation pads on top of the cool tower kept cold by supply of rain water sprayed on in intervals. 31. Roof window which blocks high summer sun and allows low winter sunlight in 32. Translucent Fabric blocks direct sunlight into the building and absorbs the solar energy. Dips in the fabric allow winter sun to penetrate and warm my building, whilst working with the overall aesthetic strategy
