Her mother has vanished, leaving Samantha an embroidered pouch with a series of unusual numbers and words — a mystery Samantha needs to solve in order to find her mother.

Samantha’s quest takes her online to places she couldn’t have dreamt. As she navigates the blockchain protocols, she meets artists in metaverse cafes, developers creating new digital currencies, and seeks the keys to unlock the gifts left to her by her mother. And, of course, she meets the Prince at the Metaverse Ball.
Samantha does not lose a glass slipper.
Instead, the Prince is looking for the mystery woman he met at the Metaverse Ball who has accidentally dropped some of the seed words connected to her wallet.
He scours the town to find her and meets resistance from
Samantha’s father (a traditional banker), his second wife (Goldie, named after gold futures), and Samantha’s step-sisters (Sylvia, named after silver, and Shelley, named after tax shelters — Goldie’s favorite forms of investment and income).
Neither Samantha’s father nor her step-mother supported her quest to learn about the creativity and opportunities made possible through blockchain innovations.
It was only after she met her online fairy godmother, CryptoMom2, that Samantha begins to learn how to navigate the platforms for Bitcoin, NFTs, altcoins, and online virtual worlds of the metaverse, eventually allowing her to find her Mother.
