The Tijuana River Restoration Project - Graduate Thesis offers a vision for the future of sustainable urban planning and architectural design for the City of Tijuana, Baja California in Mexico. This study puts forth a holistic approach to river community redevelopment for developing countries around the world, by discussing the benefits and opportunities new and existing technologies play in re-envisioning the future of river communities worldwide. The intent of this study
was to suggest processes that could form a basis for replicable planning alternatives for future sustainable, healthy, river community design. This study proposes integrating a design methodology developed to enhance the quality of life of river communities along three distinct sites located on the Tijuana River, and propose the depiction of a vision for the potential beneficial outcomes.
