WELCOME! On behalf of the Kentuckiana Pride Foundation welcome to the annual Kentuckiana Pride Festival, Concert and Parade. The committee has been hard at work to ensure this year is bigger than ever and that we accomplish our goals of celebration and awareness. We hope you enjoy this weekend and take time to celebrate how far we have come and how much more we have to fight for. Pride means a lot to many different people and we strive to provide a space that is inclusive for everyone as we celebrate. MICHAEL ALDRIDGE GRAND MARSHAL Michael is currently the Executive Director of the ACLU of Kentucky where he leads an eight-person staff team and a twenty-two member Board of Directors in implementing the organization’s litigation, legislative, and educational programs around civil liberties issues. Michael is also a co-founder of the Kentucky Competitive Workforce Coalition which consists of some of Kentucky’s leading employers, home-grown corporations, and small local businesses, expressing strong support for the Statewide Fairness Law, which would prohibit employment discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people. Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Society of Louisville and the Jeffersonville Township Public Library Foundation. Michael graduated from Centre College in 1993 with a B.A. in Art & Religion and resides in Jeffersonville, IN with his husband Matt Madden with their son.
