CONCEPT ELABORATION. There are numerous places of significant historical, educational, and economic value in Central Jakarta. Nothing, however has yet properly combined these current ideas into a local community’s educational value. The presence of this design is intended to revive the particular qualities of Central Jakarta’s history, portrayed in a clear and understandable way for the general public or newcomers. The term “Recomposing Heritage” refers to the integration of functions influenced by the historical development of Central Jakarta into one. The integration aims to make it easier for newcomers’ understanding of the history of Central Jakarta in a comprehensive way.

Use the concept ‘Yankee Architecture” or Rumah Jengki that is popular between late 1950s and early 1960s. Jengki style reflected the new influence of the United States on Indonesian architecture after hundreds years of the Dutch colonial rule. It can be interpreted as a tropical interpretation of American post-war modernist suburb houses.

Energy Efficient House with Smart Home System / Building Science Research
In the current era of globalization, industries are developing rapidly, which has had a significant impact on the rising demand for electrical energy consumption globally. While the available energy sources are finite, the amount of energy needed is steadily increasing. Energy has been extensively used by humans, notably in the form of electricity, to complete their tasks. The Earth’s resources are evaporating, though, and they will soon run out. Utilizing renewable energy sources is therefore preferred. Given these circumstances, it has become innovative to construct a house that is considered “smart”. In this terms, “smart house/home” refers to a residence that incorporates internet-controlled amenities and management system, such as lighting and space heating.
