DON’T MISS: DON’T GET FLOODED WITH COMPLAINTS AGAIN! LESSONS LEARNED FROM SANDY MEETING ON FEBRUARY 28TH!

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Brighter Days are Coming!!! I am writing to you during the biggest snowstorm I can remember in many years. I can’t complain as my family faired very well during the storm even though we could not leave our driveway for several days. Another major weather event on Long Island that is bound to have many claims yet to settle. With each experience, we learn and come out stronger. That is the world of an insurance agent and we have certainly been put through the paces in the last few months. As we all experience challenges within our individual agencies, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your involvement in TriCounty and your continued support of our meetings and programs.

Steven Visco, Ph. D, AAI President

January 29th was Capitol Day in Albany. We had strong representation this year and had a very productive visit. We were able to meet with more legislators than we have in the past and they were receptive to listening to our concerns. Thank you to all who navigated the weather to make this visit a priority. Your outstanding efforts to represent Tri County are greatly appreciated! We have two exciting meetings coming up. The first is on February 28, 2013 from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Roma View in Howard Beach. Join us for an informative meeting and discussion “Lessons learned from Sandy” moderated by our very own Jeff Greenfield. For those of you who haven’t experienced Jeff speak, he has a unique way of keeping tough topics light and interesting. Our next meeting is on March 14, 2013 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Blackstone’s Steakhouse in Melville.. The topic will be “The Future of Insurance post Sandy”
