SOUTHWEST COLLEGE OF NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE - SCNM
SUMMARY
Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) is a holistic community healthcare clinic located in Tempe, Arizona. This design consists of a rebranding and renovation of the ground level of SCNM. The concept of the new SCNM is constructing a central core that connects the North and South ends of the buildings, which fabricates an on and off stage between patients, students and staff. This central core consists of a middle corridor that connects the entrance, reception, waiting areas and café. The central core incorporates the play of natural light that flows from windows located on both North and South ends of the building. Based off a study of light and shadow the pattern provides patients the combination of healing comfort of natural light and the privacy needed inside.

COMMUNE
SUMMARY
The once Lutheran Church will still partake in a Communion where bread and wine are consecrated and shared… but now bread and wine are served through the kitchen and bar. Inspired by the city of Phoenix and the need of a community in the neighborhood, Commune will be a place where people will share intimate thoughts and feelings whether it’s through the art, entertainment, ambience or food. The furniture pieces are flexible and playful with the idea of the church. Commune is about the rehabilitation of a historic Downtown Phoenix church capturing the idea of acceptance and culture - so anybody can find a piece of themselves in Commune.

OFS HEADQUARTERS
SUMMARY
The idea of family is where the concept for the design lies within an idea of celebrating the family culture OFS has by starting at its roots, the beginning of the legacy, and branching out from where they are today to another 80 years to their family. The idea was to show a strong connectivity to their culture and brand while remaining true to their cultural roots of family and home. The floor plan is sectioned off into 4 different zones: Threshold, Sanctuary, Place-To-Share, and Place-To-Be. The zones represent the ideal space of a home that a family shares, from the central family gathering to the branching out of each member.
